Great seafood, best waitress Stafia was excellent in her explanation of the entire menu. She really made our birthday celebration fun! Definitely will recommend and will return for another great experience.
After a cancelled flight by Alaska Airlines, Oceanaire was a breath of fresh air! Impeccable food, steaks cooked perfectly and truffle mashed potatoes. The service, by our waiter Barry../we felt like Princesses!
Enjoyed an amazing meal in a beautiful setting tonight at Oceanaire Seafood in Boston. The bread and soft butter came out along with a chopped vegetable plate on ice. The oysters were a beautiful presentation, the Caesar salad was delicious. Also had the stuffed haddock which was perfectly prepared and a side of hash-browns with bacon, onion, and tobasco. It is an amazing setting in an old bank building and beautifully decorated with lots of blue lighting. It was our anniversary so they even brought us baked Alaska as a kind gesture to celebrate! Highly recommend this restaurant.
Loved what the old US Trust bank turned into. The vault is the kitchen. Safety deposit boxes is back of house. The sword fish was excellent. Loved the lobster. The steak was not prime, but all was good.
Came here for dinner with a group of 11, and the service was excellent. We ordered a bunch of appetizers including oysters, shrimp, calamari and truffle fries. We all ordered entrees as well. I got the salmon topped with crab cake and sauce Thermidor. All of the sides were tasty and enough to share. Also got a piece of key lime pie which was quite large and tasty.
When I walked in, there was a gentleman right by the door who was on the phone. I would imagine a place like this, you wait to be seated. I waited for a moment. He looked at me and continued his conversation. He did not gesture or acknowledge me in any way. So I take it upon myself and find my way to the bar for a seat.
The bar tenders were ok. They warmed up to me after a couple min. There was an older woman who ended up being a great help. She saved the experience because I was not impressed up until this point. I put her to the test with my drink orders. She was all for it.
I ordered the chicken fried lobster. It came served with grits and hot sauce. I ordered a side of garlic string beans. For dessert I had the baked Alaska with strawberry ice cream. All of it was delicious. It just wasn't hot when served. But boy did I love the chicken fried lobster. Next time please serve it hot!
Overall, a descent experience. There needs to be a better more friendly host.
Our server, Bridget, was very friendly, attentive and gave great recommendations. Her service was above and beyond. We ordered the lobster which was fantastic and the crab cakes were very good. We weren’t blown away by the Brussels sprouts or oysters but the desert was superb. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and we would come back again.
Food was absolutely delicious and our waitress was very friendly fast and attentive.. She along with the other staff made our visit to Oceanaire so welcoming.. I would highly recommend asking for Candi when you visit!!
It was a wonderful experience in boston. Our waiter was so kind and generous and gave us many helpful informations for selecting the dishes and drinks. The food(especially oysters!) also very nice, fresh, and tasty. I 100% recommend this place for the travelers who visit the boston. I will definitely revisit here if i have a chance to travel the boston once again.
Seafood is as freah as it gets. The presentation is only rivaled the service. Large ground enjoyed a majority of the menu. Crabcakes are must have!

Beautiful restaurant in downtown Boston. Excellent service by all involved. Appetizers were delicious and good sized. The appetizer crab cake was 90% crab meat and enough for my main course. The mushrooms were a bit salty. The $42 swordfish was dinky (4 oz?), not big enough for an entrée that came solo on the plate.
