I think I found my favorite pizza spot in Boston. I went in with high hopes because my friend hyped this place up, and I am happy to say that Ernesto's delivered. The place is small, but there are a few tables if you want to dine in. I do not even know which pizza I got because I asked the server to just give me a slice of the most popular. He misheard me and gave me two slices instead, and I am thankful for that because the second slice hit the spot the next day. The dough was the perfect thickness, with an airy crust. It was oily but not off-putting. There was a savory yet sweetness to the pizza that I really enjoyed. Can't wait to go back! (Once I figure out what I got the first time...)
Great spot to grab a couple slices of great pizza.

Came here on a Thursday night for quick slice. Grabbed one slice (which is really the size of two) pepperoni. I'm super easy when it comes to pizza, and these did not disappoint. Pepperoni was nice and crispy, almost burnt, exactly how it should be. The pizza was on the cheesy/doughy side, so I'll knock the food down a star for that. If that's not your thing either head elsewhere or ask them to bake for just a minute longer, which I probably should've done.
The one (very large) slice plus a can of soda came to just under $10. I've no clue how that compares to other nearby places, but it felt in line (maybe a bit more?) with what I've seen elsewhere in the area/Boston.
The interior was exactly what you'd expect for a pizza place in the North End: minimal. A few tables and chairs, no frills. But it doesn't need any.
There's not much decoration on their walls, but I didn't these framed awards/"best-reviewed" signs from 2008 and 2006, which I found funny. I guess they've been making great pizza for at least that long!
Pizza was super yummy and tasty. One slice here is 2 slices at normal places! It's a great portion for right buck! I tried barbecue chicken and sausage pepperoni pizza. Two slices filled me up so fast! The barbecue chicken pizza was true winner for me! It had great balance of barbecue, chicken, amd cheese.
There is a few seats inside. You defiantly can take slice on the go amd sit in the park nearby. I will defiantly come back to try other kinds!! It was too good. I defiantly recommend everyone to tey it once.
Phenomenal pizza. I don't have much else to say, it's just damn good pizza. The slices are huge and all the flavor is there. The crust is perfectly cooked too.
Make sure to double check the prices when they charge you. I believe they overcharged us for the pizza we got.
PERFECTION!!!!!!!!!!! The food here is so amazing!! How can pizza taste this good?! Whatever y’all doing- KEEP DOING IT!!! I will be back one day lol
Very affordable, super tasty, great location, and hit the spot! Pizza doesn’t get any better than this- trust me!
Ernesto's is a small, family-owned pizzeria located in the North End of Boston. It has been serving up delicious pizza since 1968. The pizzeria is known for its huge, thin-crust slices, made with fresh, high-quality ingredients.
I recently visited Ernesto's and had two slices of the ricotta and sausage pizza. The pizza was absolutely delicious! The crust was crispy and chewy, and the toppings were flavorful and portion generous - Each slice of 1/4th of a pizza. I paired a Sam Adams Boston Lager with my pizza, for the full Boston experience.
We ate our pizza at a table on the Rose Kennedy Greenway, which offered a million-dollar view of the Boston skyline. It was the perfect way to enjoy a delicious pizza and a beautiful day in Boston.
Overall, I had a great experience at Ernesto's pizza. The pizza was delicious, the location was amazing and the service was excellent. I would definitely recommend Ernesto's to anyone looking for a great pizza in Boston.
great crust and value 2 pieces pepporoni for $6.75. Homemade . No white pizza by slice but melt in your mouth. Could be hotter temp when warming snd all tables were dirty
Ordered 1 slice of pepperoni and 1 slice of cheese, got 2 pretty good size pieces of each with the order. Good amount of food for the money! Wasn’t my favorite pizza, VERY greasy, pretty crisp crust, nice crisp pepperonis.
Got hawaiian "slice" to-go. I say "slice" bc you get two! And it was like $6!! The crust is amazing, would 100% recommend 👌
Biggest slices I have ever seen, really good quality/price , and the attention was awesome. It was crowded, but no line, no waiting time.. and our order was ready in less than 3min.
