Update: I went again tonight with my mom and we both enjoyed everything. We shared the special salad which exceeded expectations. I got the pasta dish again. We got tiramisu to share and both really enjoyed it. Small but busy delicious Italian spot. Apparently it's the place to go for a birthday since there were 5 other birthdays besides my friends' just while we were there. The prices are fair for such exceptional quality. I've been quite privileged with dinning experience in New England, New York, many states between the east and west coast. Having a high maintenance grandmother I wouldn't refer her to just any place I've been and enjoyed but when she's in the area looking for a good Italian restaurant THIS is where I would send her. The fried oysters were melt on your tongue perfectly balanced salty, briny, and fresh. The clam linguine was great. And the lobster ravioli that my friend ordered was devine. They really take their time with the quality of pasta here. Oh and also the olive oil they serve for dipping your bread is a great oil, it's not some weak tasteless oil. It's got a nice peppery note.
This was my first time visiting this place. We sat at the bar and that was a great experience because we had a front row seat to watch the cooks making the food. They all worked flawlessly together making various dishes. We had the bruschetta and antipasto plate for appetizers. We then ordered the Figgy Piggy and Pasta carbonara. All of the food was soo flavorful. I would highly recommend this place and will be back.
The Open Face Lobster Ravioli Dish was Excellent we had it for an Appetizer😋
The Pasta Bolognese was so Flavorful and Delicious. 😋
Linguine Frutti Di Mare was Amazing and The Seafood so Fresh.
Delfino's 14 Oz. Aged Sirloin Au Poivre was Top Notch Perfection😋.
The Shrimp and Chicken Ziti with Pesto was very Tasty.
To Top off the Night was The Sinful Desserts that they Offer let's Start with The Tiramisu Just WOW🤤😋 and don't forget The 😋Chocolate Bread Pudding oh my 😋 Creme Brulee just Outstanding.
Now the Service was Above and Beyond Excellent 👍 ⭐from The Culinary Team in the Open Kitchen to The Front of The House Staff. Our Waitress was Amazing.
Hats off to The Entire Crew at Delfinos for such A Great Job on Making it such a Memorable Night.

I've been here many times and have consistently experienced great service and food. It's a small, cozy place. Many dishes are large enough to share; the wine list is solid. Tonight, I shared the special; a veal shop stuffed with prosciutto and fontina cheese nestled in a demi glace with mushrooms.

The food was all very flavorful and quick. The service was great with our waiter being very kind and knowledgeable. We also enjoyed the atmosphere and found it romantic with the dimmed lighting. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting Italian food. The pricing is very fair and the food is delicious!
Love love love this place. All staff that serviced us were tremendously gracious and kind. Even better, the food was outstanding. Could I dare say this Italian food was even better than the north end? Of course, because it was. Take out the annoyance of finding parking in the north end, you’ll find it so easy to have a great night out at Delfino. I highly recommend the open faced ravioli. My goodness, it was heavenly.
Excellent food. The server (young guy, don't remember his name) was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Food delivery was timed well. A little loud. Not a complaint, just a fact. If you're looking for intimately quiet, this is Not the place. We had a great time. I'd recommend dinning in, or take away. My canoli was awesome. My ravioli was simple, and super delicious.
Our waitress was awesome. Food delicious. In and out in 40 minutes.

Quality of dishes here were generally great, prices were very reasonable. I expected more from their Seafood Linguine but our choice of pink sauce didn’t wow us. Our favourite dishes were the Fried Calamari & open faced Lobster Ravioli.
If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Service, food and atmosphere deserve 10 stars! Pork chop special, frutti di mare, duck, and chicken parm all fantastic! Dinner salads were huge and so fresh. Calamari app was best I had in years! No need to go to the North End. Easy drive from any of the southern parts of Boston and the suburbs. Service is so good that you never have to ask for more water or wine...it just appears silently and before you need to ask. Food is prepared quickly to perfection! Definitely need reservations because the place is small and very popular. They always seat us immediately so it is a very well run establishment. Probably one of the best hidden gems in Boston!
