Lizard's Thicket is always a great option for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, especially if you like a large variety of vegetable options. Southern food classics are available as well as daily specials. I always like to visit when I am in the Columbia area. 🦎
How could you go wrong with great southern food! They also serve wonderful hamburgers, salmon patties and shrimp! Friendly staff and good cooks.
Caution: Typically the sodium content is fairly high if you're on a sodium restricted diet. Other than that this is a great family friendly restaurant!
Cute named local country sit down restaurant, just off the highway I-77. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Food was excellent for a restaurant just off the highway that is mostly populated with fast food places. Good selection of sides with main meat dish.

Food was absolutely delicious! 😋 I had the fried flounder, mac n cheese, string beans & the cornbread stuffing with giblet gravy. Real down home, homemade cooking. The hostess & waitresses were phenomenal. Highly recommended!👍🏽
I hosted my family from out of town here on a Sunday morning after my son's wedding the day before. They were able to accommodate a large group arriving unannounced. Service and food was great!
