Just stumbled on this place today and tried it for the first time. I had low expectations since almost anytime I come across a pizza place that does weird toppings or does non-pizza things, their pizza is usually not good. This place breaks that stereotype.
I only tried a regular cheese slice (because that's the best pizza) and it was really good. The only slight criticism is I wish the crust was just slightly thicker, but it's still fine. And the crust actually tastes good. I'd include a picture showing how thin the crust is, but I ate it all before i thought to take a pic showing that. 😁
I love getting Brooklyn Pizza. I would recommend ordering online and picking up because the line/wait can get long. There is seating indoors and you can order by the slice, but I could never because I love smashing a large brussels pizza.
The pepperoni is a solid choice if you are going for classic, but my favorites are the Brussels and Hell boy. The Mexican is pretty good, but I’d order my favorites over it.
Super delicious pizza and sides. Very nice service. They will also walk you through menu and help you choose the dish which is perfect for you.
If you don’t fold your slice, your shirt is going to be upset. This is a delicious pie (or single slice) for a reasonable price. Outdoor seating in a prime spot downtown. Come and get it!
There really is nothing like a good brick oven pizza. We're not up in this area often, but we loom forward to the visits to Brooklyn Pizza. Four cheere with pepperoni is our favorite.
Decided to drop by and order a quick pizza today, I was pleasantly surprised. Ordered a Margherita Pizza well done add fresh garlic(Cashier says "We don't have fresh garlish jus garlic powder" huh?) Thankfully the lady who was making the pizzas corrected him. One point for not getting the said garlic on the pie, cashier not being knowledgeable and having to put the said pizza(after cutting it) back in the oven because it wasn't cooked enough! Please start using the brick oven for what it's meant for CHARRED YUMMY BROOKLYN TYPE PIZZA! So a helpful suggestion when ordering, do order well done! Will give it another try, because the ingredients were all fresh and the pie had good flavour.
We used to get your pizza from time to time at the Troy location. We were so sad when we recently found out that it had closed. However, we were ELATED to see that not only is there this cute location in Birmingham (loved the outdoor seating too), but found out that it has expanded from just a small carry out to an adorable New York bistro style restaurant! So chic and fun! We have always loved fresh, thin crust wood fired pizza, and this certainly did not disappoint! Ordered the Margarita (my personal favorite) and the pepperoni pizza, with a large house salad to split. Everything was fantastic! And did I mention that we stopped at the gelato bar for a sweet treat after? Needless to say, I’m happy we just happened to be in the area, and decided to give this location a try! Lucky for us, it’s only a quick 25 minute drive away, so we’ll be back! Well done! 🍕

There is so much good to say about this cute neighbourhood spot. Great slices are available at any time with no wait and their whole pizzas are made fast in their stone oven. Buy their fresh or frozen pizza dough to take home to make your own—it will turn out great for you to make any time you like. In the summer their small but decent ice cream selection is fine and their new bar makes this a great meeting spot for any walk around town.
