Good solid Chinese food! Always quick when ordering out and steady quality. I really enjoy the steamed veggies and egg rolls. Fried chicken rice is always a must too :) I live close by and eat here frequently!
We went to Sunday buffet and was pleasantly surprised. The food was very flavorful even though it contained no msg. Good buffet at a great price of 6.95 each.

Best Mongolian Beef Ever!
Love!. We are regulars here, and we love Mrs. Sue and the food. My boyfriend is vegetarian, and he loves the egg fried rice and spring rolls. I typically stick with my usual beef fried rice, but I also love their General Tso's and sesame chicken. Mrs. Sue is so sweet to us. We only had a problem once, when someone else had taken our order and my boyfriend ended up with chicken in his rice. Mrs. Sue was very apologetic and nice, she fixed it very quickly.
Amazing Chinese!. My family are all big fans of China Doll 2. The food is always excellent and inexpensive; probably because the owner is always the chef, and he's very good at what he does. The other owner, Mrs. Sue, is super friendly, and genuinely happy to see us every time we come in; which is something I've never experienced at any other Chinese restaurant we frequent. This is truly a gem of a place and worth checking out!
I go here all the time it's great. We always have gotten take but ever since management changed they got different containers for the food that carry less.
Love this place!. The chicken fried rice is the best I have eaten in Birmingham. The service is fast and friendly. Prices are so good we go at least once a week. Even my 14 year old has no complaints and I can't remember the last time that happened. Try them, you will love them.
Can't beat this buffet. Quality food with no msg and cheap. Can't ask for much more out of lunch buffet. The review calling Ms Su bipolar made me laugh. While she won't be winning any Miss Congeniality awards anytime soon, she always seems to take care of me and the other customers. Also, kudos to the young guy with glasses that works there too. Not sure his name but he does a good job.
Long time customer. Excellent Chinese food. Always fun to take the kids over there and come back with a giant box of chinese that we can eat for days on end!
If you haven't been here in a while, go back! The place is under new ownership and I think it is so much better. The buffet is very good at lunch, a wide variety that is replenished often. The evening menu is very diverse. We have never gotten anything we didn't like! The staff is friendly and helpful!
"Vegetarian" is probably an uncommon word in this place and after some awkward "conversation" and a bit of confusion, I steered away from the tasty looking buffet and ended up ordering the vegetable delight.
Not bad at all. The sauce was a little too starchy and I was missing hot sauce and chop sticks but the broccoli was slightly crisp and I was pleased not to detect animal products in the food. Not fine dining, not the most authentic but a nice, cheap lunch with plenty of smiles.

Lunch buffet and dine in for a Chinese restaurant. Glad to find one open for dine in since most are pick up only. Food was just ok and ambiance not great. Almost gave them a three but proud of them being open.
Have eaten here since 1995. A nostalgic place around here. Left for 12 yrs and this place is still going strong after coming back.
Very good Chinese meal picked up on the way home. Inexpensive, friendly place for a quick bite. They're also offering dine in right now if that's an option you want!
Chicken lo mein is always very tasty, always hot and fresh as well.
