We ordered 4 drinks! The kitchen was closed by 8.30 p.m. so we didn't get to try the food there. Cocktails are so disappointed! Beers are meh....But the service was amazing! We honestly told the bartender, Greg, that we didn't like the drink so we kept trying. I like the service, the atmosphere, the cleanest bar! I thought drinks are really good prices compared with most bars in Berkeley. They served espresso in the morning from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. with pastries. If you are looking for somewhere nice and peaceful in the morning. This is your place.
Attending a show at Zellerbach Auditorium, stumbled across this great place for drinks before the show. Quiet, relaxed, great service, tasty drinks.
Great little tavern. Amazing burgers, both meat and vegan varieties. Great drinks and a solid selection of local beers on tap. Yummy and original gnocchi and sunchoke dish. Friendly service. Comfortable booths. Rarely crowded (maybe during big Cal events). A great spot for locals in the know!
Great spot for a group of 10 of us to be able to talk and eat but also have a lively atmosphere. We went here before a show at the Greek theater, the location was perfect to park and walk to the show. The food was really good and we had a fair amount of drinks, came out to about $50pp. I will bring my own wine to open next time as their wine options are not very good. Everything else was great, including service. I highly recommend.
Great food, beautiful interiors and overall great service. A gem in Berkeley.
