This is one of the famous eateries in Bedford. These guys make the best "Grilled chicken sandwiches" in whole of USA. This might sound like an exaggeration but I haven't found a replacement for this awesome sandwich yet. I wish they make this a franchise and open it all over USA.
Been here a couple times now and haven't been disappointed. I've gotten the Jack's Special as well as the Roast Beef Club, which are both very good - loaded with roast beef and dripping with sauce. Their fries could be better, pretty standard but on the greasy side. Service was accommodating. Haven't experienced the rude service others have mentioned. I'll be going back to try more of their menu!
Had the souvlaki dinner (10.50) beef tips were very tender!!!! Came w/ French fries onion ring and a choice of Greek salad or toss salad.

Needs improvement. There is potential here however my first experience was not all that good. I heard and read a few good things about Bedford house and they may have been having an off day.
There was only one other customer in there eating when I arrived so it was not busy, the decor and atmosphere do leave a lot to be desired but cleanliness should never be an issue. Every table in the place was pretty skanky,not something you want to see in any eating establishement.
On to the food... my order was taken and The guy behind the counter told the kid preparing the food what my order was, he was on his cell phone and did't seem happy that he had to hang up, My food was prepared quickly and he was back on his phone as soon as my order was up.
I ordered a junior beef with sauce and a regular with cheese/mayo.
The roast beef itself was excellent. It was lean, thin sliced, cooked perfectly and tasted great.
However the bun was barely grilled and was a little soggy and the sandwich toppings were pretty much non existent.
The cheese was a paper thin slice and I think they forgot the mayo, which was ok because as I stated the bun was a little soggy.
The sauce was barely there and I actually opened my sandwich to see if there was any sauce at all. In the middle of the sandwich there was a little sauce about the size of a quarter, so it was there but barely.
There is a pretty decent sized menu but the RB was the draw for me. Overall the place was not as great as I had heard and I will probably give it another shot in the future but otherwise nothing to go out of your way to get.
Simple sub shop, awesome sandwiches. Not one for great decor or atmosphere, but the roast beef more than makes up for it. The roast beef is sliced fresh when you order it. The BBQ sauce is delicious. At the Bedford house of beef you have "Sandwiches" and "Subs". Sandwiches are from hamburger size to the larger kaiser type roll. For a real value meal my wife and I split the roast beef "SUB" with lettuce tomatoes pickles and BBQ sauce. (If you like the taste of a whopper add a little mayo to that. Better tasting than a whopper and a lot less fat.)
Really cool place. Extremely nice staff and the atmosphere is very welcoming.

This place is amazing. Not only did they feed a crew of 300 people TWICE….They put so much care into their amazing product and made sure it held it’s top tier quality. This is the place you want to come for lunch and dinner. Best sandwiches in town and it’s not even close!
We stopped in here while passing through and it was a great experience! The men running the place, very busy when we were there, food came out super fast and they were so freindly! Food was amazing! My mom and I got BLT's and my daughter got a steak and cheese. Definitely recommend!
Lunch with Family about 1:30 on Monday. Steady flow of customers. I ordered the special A Meatball sub and small order of fries. My wife ordered the Roast beef club.
A great place for a snadwich. The roast beef was juicy and with all the fixings it was a perfect amount of heat. The curly fries were fantastic as well.
