Something about POO is perfect for me. Decades ago, when I poor college student, I would park nearby, sleep in my truck, then have a trout breakfast. the Trout is replaced by catfish and the memories are the same. It was Quiet. They turned off the pathway lights at night so I could sleep with the curtains open. the balcony faced the lake. Quiet, dark, lake water, comfortable - perfect for me. I will be back - a lot. And sustainable - first ever seeing a sand timer set for 5 minutes. I discovered that filling the tub took only 5 minutes, so I was not wasting too much water for my much needed muscle relief. A hot tub on the lake would make it perfect and then i would only need a 2 minute shower! Great service, great food (roasted beet salad) - quiet and peaceful.

I had my wedding at the Peaks of Otter about three weeks ago and it was amazing! Everything about it was perfect from the decorations, to the food and the atmosphere. The wait staff was incredible at our reception and everything went off perfectly without a hitch! I highly recommend brides to consider having their wedding here as it is a gorgeous location! The sales coordinator was so helpful and answered any and all questions that I had in a timely manner! Overall, it was a fantastic experience and it is something that my husband and I will remember forever!
