Loved everything about this place!! We had the fried ravioli, the Jax Jax pizza, eggplant meatball rollatini, shrimp florentine ravioli, and chocolate mouse cake. (We had lots of leftovers-which were just as good.) Our waiter gets a A++ in customer service. After driving over a hour to Baton Rouge just to try Bistro Italia, it far surpassed our expectations and we will definitely be back again.
Picked up eggplant parmesan and their Italian house salad tonight for dinner. The eggplant was cooked really well and stuffed with cheese. The red sauce had a really nice flavor. It tasted homemade. The garlic bread was a generous portion (really, the whole meal was huge!) And seasoned with dried herbs and parmesan. I was most impressed with the salad. Fresh veggies, good quality greens (not all iceberg lettuce like some places) and lots of feta. Their house vinaigrette was really good!! They definitely give you your moneys worth. The food was hot, and the service was friendly. This is a BR best kept secret! I will definitely be going back. Delicious!!!!!!
The garlic knots were delicious. The food and service were excellent. We will be going back.

Chicken parm is my go to. Hearty sangwich with gooey cheese, nice tomato sauce covering crispy chicken. (Not soggy, crispy!)
All accompanied with homemade Parmesan potato chips.
Pizza here is no joke either!
I haven't tried much else, but the eggplant parm is getting raves reviews apparently. Hmmm
Ordered to-go from here last night, and everything was delicious. I ordered the eggplant parmesan, and my boyfriend got the Greek sandwich with a Caesar salad. The food was fresh and was very satisfied with everything. We must all spread the word about this amazing little restaurant!
We have been several times and never been disappointed. The garlic knots are amazing. The food is fresh and the prices are reasonable. Highly recommend.
Love this place!!! Best Eggplant Parmesan I have ever had! My kids love the French bread pizza that is on the kids menu. Delicious desserts too.
The bistro burger is amazing!! I've had it multiple times. The others in my party have gotten calzones and also thoroughly enjoyed their meals.
We love Bistro Italia! Wonderful sensation salad...Great dressing and generous with the feta cheese. Best eggplant Parmesan I have ever had and I have had quite a few. Pizza is excellent as well. And please, all must try the beignet dessert...delicious! This is our new favorite little Italian place and the service is great!
We love this place!. Have been here several times, taken friends and family back with us and they never disappoint. Go try it out for yourself. I wish more places were this consistently great! Eggplant Parmesan and the garlic knots are a couple of our favorites.
Good Food. I ordered John The Butcher Pizza, I dropped the Salami and added Tomato, the Tomato came uncooked on the done pizza I tried it instead of sending back, guess I shoulda asked, most cook them first, to my surprise it was pretty good as well uncooked, I will have it the same way again. Lily and Granny had Spaghetti, it was very good too, sauce wasn't overly sweet like a lot of restaurants serve. Can't wait to try other dishes
New favorite restaurant!. Amazing eggplant parmigiano sandwich! Went with my husband, 3 kids and my parents. Server was so wonderful! My 4 year old is a handful, to be polite, and he went out of his way to bring him a bowl of crayons and paper to color on. Great food, great service and wonderful environment! Definitely our new go-to place to eat out!!! 5 stars!
It doesn’t look like an Italian restaurant from the outside. It is a casual dining experience filled with locals. Restaurant is clean. Service was quick. We were greeted within thirty seconds of sitting down. They have fresh brewed sweet and unsweetened tea. Food presentation was nice and came out in a timely manner. This place was packed out and our food still made it to our table quick. Mama Mia! (Italian man voice) portions are big and the price is fair. This is my go to spot to wear casual clothes ( meaning my elastic band pants so I can overeat- no judgement ) and eat some delicious food.
We came in 45 minutes before closing and never felt rushed. Server was very knowledgeable and kind. Food was amazing!! Meat eggroll appetizer, caprese Salad and chicken parmesan were all very delicious!! We will be back!

Had a good experience at the restaurant. The food was great and the right portion to eat alone. The Beignets were huge and too much for me to eat. It also came with ice cream. Desserts are not on the menu. Just ask for them when you get there. The only negative experience was all the booths were connected and not level. Every time the person on the other side behind me moved my bench would move. Very annoying
Food was good. The service was good. They were out of the lasagna and I got ravioli and meatballs. Loved the garlic bread.
Amazing Pizza 🍕 & Salad 🥗 !!! Great atmosphere. The server was super cool. Andrew even had a sit with us. Must go to!!!!!! Definitely a returning customer 😎
If you're ever in Baton Rouge and want real Italian food, this is the place!!!! Food was great, the staff was great, the owner was awesome! Our waitress Brittney was fantastic in helping us decide on our order and was very accommodating!! 10 stars if I could, did i mention the food was Great!! We will be driving back to Mississippi full and happy!😁
Great food, here is my togo experience. Mike, I believe answered the phone and did a great job answering my questions as I am a first time buyer. While picking up my pizza, I was greeted with prompt service. The pizza is AMAZING! Very good and definitely will try the lasagna next. I ordered a large pepperoni and basil pizza. As mentioned, taste was great. For the pizza to be $20 I expected the presentation to be cleaner, the basil was dumped in one spot. No biggie, quick fix and definitely did not take away from the experience. Try them out!
