Great beer selection. Nice woodsy feel to the place. Very open inside. Would of checked out the patio but the weather was poo. The service was very good. They kept the beers flowing. Wednesday you get to keep every glass that you drink out of.
Go on Wednesday night. If you are from out of town like me, go on Wednesday night. The food is actually very good for bar food, with lots of variety. I had a turbo dog chicken sandwich and the King Nachos. The Nachos were average but the sandwich was very good. Every drink on Wednesday comes with a free souvenir glass. I saw many people staggering out with stacks of them.
Beer Heaven. Most taps around...always rotating. Proudly have done the beer journey, haha! The managers and bartenders are awesome! I love the food...for bar food you're not going to get better anywhere around. I'll keep happily supporting The Bulldog! Oh, and my wife lets me keep plenty of Bulldog pint glasses in the house!
Fantastic Atmosphere. I took my american eskimo here and it was a great place, she just looks up to beg for food but everyone was really nice and there was other dogs there as well. The food was great and a wide variety of beers to try. The bartender was really nice to let me try a sample of beer. A must place to try!
Love this place! Found a french beer that is now the only beer I want to drink. No annoying waitstaff, nice decor. Absolutely worth the higher drink prices.
Great beer. great people. patio too. I like bars. I know bars. and this is one well run bar. It is a great happy hour bar for all ages, and the patio is nice. The crowd gets younger as the night gets later. i am 50ish. the food is good. the bar has lots of single people. it is one of the few places in town where you can eat and smoke, but it gets smokey inside later at night. if you want to know what i think about other places in town, check my other reviews. they should invest in an air cleaner, but that is the only negative thing i can say abt the bull dog. and you can bring your dog (outside)
Good Food. Food is great IF they get your order correct. It has been wrong for me about 50% of the time. I will never understand this.
Events & Happy Hour. I've been to the Bulldog several times for many different events. It is great for after dinner meet-ups. As for event purposes, the inside area which is elevated with couches and chairs is great for an intimate gathering of no more than 20. The outside patio is great for events of about 50. Tin Roof Brewery recently hosted a launch party on the patio, and it was a success!
The menu is bar food, but fresh, tasty bar food. I recommend the spinach/artichoke dip. They even have a great Non Alcoholic beer selection!

Good beer, decent food.. The most tap lines in town, and lately it seems like they've been better about rotating some new stuff in! The atmosphere is great for happy hour, but can get really crowded on busy nights. The food has always been pretty decent when I've eaten as well as drank, so don't hesitate to order a burger & fries if you're looking for a bite with your beer!
Superb in many ways but it shouldn't take 20 mins to get an order of fries.
