The Food is consistently good. I travel all the way from Columbia Maryland just to come get the delicious food that is made there. It's always worth it.
I stumbled upon this gem while looking for good soul food in the area. The food was amazing to say the least. I had the stewed chicken with rice & peas, cabbage and plantains. When I tell you the food did not disappoint. I had a chance to speak with the owner and a few customers while my meal was prepared. They made me feel very welcomed and shared some of their favorites off the menu. Don’t forget the ginger lemonade! It was so refreshing and much needed after a long day of working. I’ll definitely be returning to indulge in other items from their menu.
With no family in the area, I was struggling to find an open restaurant Thanksgiving morning. I placed an order online and Vasachy called me immediately to say since it was the day of, he wasn’t sure what he could accommodate but to come in and we would figure it out. He blew me out of the WATER with macaroni, greens, sweet potatoes, oxtail and rice! I could not believe it! Thank you so much Vasachy for being so kind and saving my Thanksgiving! Everything is so flavorful and delicious!

This was my first time ordering from here. The chicken was cooked really well. Not overly seasoned with salt. It was fresh and hot. The beans and rice were okay, but I have a picky pallet of how I like for my food to taste. Will be ordering from here again. Check them out. I recommend them.
A great place to eat, and satisfy your taste buds. A taste of the African and Caribbean diaspora. I’ll suggest the jerk chicken with jollof rice. Oh don’t forget the mac n cheese or plantain…
I’m glad I didn’t listen to these other useless reviews of people complaining and straight up hating!. because the food was amazing 🤩 . I got fried wings, Mac n cheese and yams and oh man that was delicious. The wings were fried hard. DELICIOUS. The portions are a good size compared to other places and the service was great. I will definitely be returning. 10/10!
It's worth it, our food was $50 because of the 2 large oxtails plus the Mac and yams. The food will fill you up. You can sit and it but take it home and enjoy a movie with it it's way better.

I found this restaurant from charmcitytables on Instagram, the owner Mr Vasachy is very kind spirited and the moment I taste tested my food I could’ve slapped my momma lol joking but that soul food is amazingly good 10/10, I will be back !
Tried Vasachy’s for the first time today. The food is amazing! I got the catfish and chicken wings with mac & cheese and collard greens. Everything smells, looks, and tastes delicious! The owner is also very nice and explained to me what different things on the menu are. So happy I ate here!
