The food has always been pretty good but my order hasn't always been right. I know they're usually busy but I get the same stuff all the time so I don't see how they mess it up.. unless the special instructions are being overlooked..
The food here is truly something to go out of your way for, I came here from New York based on a recommendation and I have no regrets! The buffet here is by weight instead of sitting down for all you can eat (its like 6 bucks a pound) The Mac and Cheese was one of the best things in the buffet! Overall I thought the place was a bit cramped, and unwelcoming. The overall feel of the restaurant makes you feel like you are in a hospital cafeteria instead of a buffet but at the end of the day the only thing that mattered was that the food was good!
1st time here the food was amazing the prices are a lil steep but it was definitely worth it. 10/10 will try again
Oh, Kimmy's off of Wabash Ave. is the spot for Black soul food 🍱 cooking meals. Grade: +A-Okay. Try it and you’ll appreciate the experience of the old Southern Dining we use to enjoy in DC off of 7th Street NW back in the days. Kimmy’s delicious variety of food reminds me of just that. Go pack a plate and have it weighed up. Enjoy.
Greatest all you can eat by the pound takeout spot in BALTIMORE & SURROUNDING COUNTIES. The food is EXCELLENT , Service is GREAT, Variety, & Convenience unmatched ANYWHERE!!
This restaurant has been here for more years than I can remember. The food is always good and hot. It's not the safest area, still never felt unsafe. Great chicken boxes.
I would have given 5 stars if the fried chicken wasn't hard. Soul food places should be on point with the fried chicken. Other than that. I really enjoyed the flavor of the cabbage and yams. I will definitely order here again but will do the baked chicken next time.

This place has a great selection but some of the food was not done. My mother had a turkey wings that's was tough and appeared to be rushed. Poked meaning boiled then dumped into gravy they were not browned at all. Other than that everything else appeared good I only had glazed wings and veggies which was really tasty. That is why they get 4 stars.
I Loves To Go To Kimmy's Especially When I Don't Feel Like Cooking Or Just Want Some Good Old Soul Food 😋. Their Food Is On & Popping.. Fresh As Can Be.. I Will Always Come Again..Would Recommend To All..🤭
