Never been disappointed at Katana. Good variety of Asian food but definitely Sushi focused. Great happy hour deal of 3 rolls for $15.
The food was fresh and I really liked every dish I tried. Although the service was quick the server and bartender weren't the least bit engaging. Some of their interactions with other customers also appeared cold and, sometimes, borderline rude.
First time in this establishment. Pretty basic ambiance, nothing out of the ordinary for a Japanese restaurant. Service was mediocre, they could be a little more engaging and attentive. But the sushi was incredible. Their salmon, white tuna and mackerel were fresh and just melts in your mouth. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re ever in the area.

I have try ramen in different places but ramen at Katana is the best ramen in town, I highly recommend spicy ramen with hot oil. The chicken teriyaki lunch box is really delicious just like the videos I saw from Japan.
Katana sushi is the best sushi place you can find in baltimore. Last time I went for sashimi and I was surprised how fresh they were. The restaurant definitely provides high - quality fish. The sushi rolls under cook's chef's special are highly recommended. All of them are tasty. Overall, A perfect place to dine with friends and family.
As an Asian who have been in search of the best ramen close to authentic, I find this place the near perfect in my taste. I've tasted a lot of ramen houses in Baltimore and outside the US, and this one hits home. The Ramen is amazing, the sashimi is well prepared and fresh, one of the exotic dishes they have is the IDAKO, or baby octopus. It's soft and Chewy and appetizing. The Takoyaki and age Tofu is a must try if you're new to Japanese dish. The preparations of the food is like an art, almost perfect. The Only downside I find is there's a shortage of attendant/waiter, probably it's because I always went there during rush hours. I'm glad the restaurant survived the Pandemic. There's no other place I can compare thier Ramen. It's what keeps me coming back. The ramen noodles is freshly made, chewy and and has texture just how I liked it, not soaked like the other ramen houses.
Went for lunch and there was no wait. I had the Spicy Ramen with pork and bok choy. Spice level was between mild and medium heat. Great for flavor. My friend had the Shrimp Tempura box and said the veggies were perfect.
I’ve been coming here for a long time in person and getting delivery. The food quality is always amazing! Highly recommend.
We usually go to Kippo Ramen in Fells Point. However, since it was 4:15 and Kippo opens at 5:00, we headed to Katana for ramen. Besides the ramen which was delicious, we also had an order of salmon skin sushi and gyoza. If you have room for dessert, try the mango sticky rice. The whole meal was reasonably priced and very tasty. Parking in this part of town is easy in the afternoon.
