Excellent food at very very affordable cost. My friend and I came here and our meals only cost $25. We left filled and ver satisfied with the food. Highly recommended. Great place to take your date.

I ordered the mixed grill, chicken and lamb. Both were absolutely fantastic. They were flavorful and tender. The plate came with salad of the basic variety, rice (not my preferred style but still good), and naan that was tender and fresh. Total cost with the fountain soda was roughly $20. If the rice has been another variety or the salad something beyond just basic, this place would be 5 stars, and almost is because of the meat alone, but that would mean no room for improvement so I'm going with 4 stars, wishing I could give something closer to 5.

From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The menu showcased an impressive selection of Afghan dishes, each a masterpiece in its own right. I started with the bolani, which were delicate pockets of flavor-filled with a mix of seasoned ground potato and onions. For the main course, I opted for the chicken tandoori tikka, a traditional dish that was a true highlight. The fragrant basmati rice was studded with tender chunks of chicken and adorned with sweet raisins. The flavors were beautifully balanced, showcasing the rich and nuanced tastes of Afghan cuisine. The attentive and knowledgeable staff made the dining experience even more enjoyable. They were more than willing to explain the origins of each dish and offer recommendations based on preferences. To round off the meal, I savored a cup of mango lassi, a soothing finish to an exquisite culinary adventure. In summary, this Afghan restaurant captured the essence of Afghan culture and cuisine flawlessly. The authenticity of the dishes, combined with the welcoming ambiance and top-notch service, made it a memorable dining experience. I'm already looking forward to returning and exploring more of the diverse flavors that Afghanistan has to offer.

The food was delicious and we ordered too much and wound up finishing almost all of it. The falafel comes as a platter with falafel balls, wonderfully flavored rice, hummus, salad with dressing and naan. Lamb shishkab had chunks of lamb and similar platter without hummus. All was nicely spiced without being spicey hot. You order at the counter but food is brought to you when ready. We also had appetizers of samosas and baba ghanoush. Portions were good sized and not overpriced. Atmosphere is comfortable but utilitarian.

Never tried afghan food before so I can't comment on the authenticity of the food. But it was quite good for my taste. I had the chicken skewers and my companion had the shrimp skewers. Both were large portions served with long trained rice, a side green salad and 2 pieces of naar. A very satisfying meal! Service was quick and friendly. Prices were good.
