Such a terrific summer tradition! The selection of ice cream flavors is on point--the classics with some delicious twists like Cinnamon which I highly recommend topped with butterscotch! And a single scoop is plenty...although I'm always tempted to double up. Bravo to an Avalon Small Biz. First class all the way. 🍧🍦🍨🍥🍫

The name says it all! This charming little parlor has the BEST ice cream on the island and anywhere around the cape! Try the cinnamon crumb flavor you will not be disappointed! Personable friendly service will complete your experience! Don't be afraid to stand in line to wait and make sure you bring cash! Hope to see you at Sundae best! (disclaimer portion: I don't work there and I really don't know anyone that does, but when someone churns out a product as wonderful as their's I have to give them credit!)
The BEST hand dipped ice cream on the 7 mile island & perhaps in the whole state of NJ. We love it here. Patience is a virtue because there's always a line at this popular place. Treat yourself-you'll be happy you did and it's definitely worth the wait. Picture shows the smiles as we wait for our black & white milkshakes.

This is our favorite ice cream parlor at the shore. The flavors are full of the stalwarts along with some unusual yet tasty options we don’t tend to see elsewhere (grilled pineapple, blueberry crumb). And of course there are about a dozen tasty sundae options too. Highly recommend!
This place really is the “best” in Avalon! They have a unique flavor selection, including some Kohler’s flavors, that you don’t see anywhere else. The staff are incredibly friendly and keep us coming back :) highly recommend the blueberry crumb.
Cute ice cream place with a huge selection of flavors. Can get super busy after dinner. The waffle cone was boring though. Would have been perfect with housemate cones dipped in chocolate or something.
SB is our favorite hard ice cream on the island - reliable, delicious, and worth any wait. Peanut butter ripple is a favorite. Kids love lucky charms and cotton candy. Kohlers donut is overrated - the dough pieces taste stale - skip the flavor and get the donuts.
sorry Avalon freeze, but this is hands down the best ice cream in Avalon. Avalon freeze is very delicious still - but this is off the charts. they even have an ice cream that has Kohler's donuts in it - which hopefully will still continue even though Kohler's is closing 😭😭😭
Best ice cream in Avalon, bar none. Be wary that lines can be long, but the COVID-19 protocol of ordering outside is reasonable and doesn't diminish the great taste.
Stopped here last week on a night that was pretty cold and windy. We got two flavors, Espresso crunch and coconut and both were absolutely fantastic! We ate the entire container and would’ve kept going had we had more! The service was friendly, efficient, and accommodating!
I really like the way they have setup their business to accommodate concerns about the spread of Covid-19. The have everyone order outside and they lines on the sidewalk to help people social distance.
The icecream is home made and very delicious. This is our favorite icecream shop when we come to the NJ shore.
