I had lunch yesterday at Verona, which opened at this location within the past couple of months. It's in the same spot as Carrabba's was prior to shutting down, and the interior looks pretty similar. Quite nice and very clean. The place was pleasantly quiet, partially from the design but more-so because it was fairly empty of customers during lunch hour.
The service staff were all quite nice, polite, and very attentive. I would rate the service Excellent, but I'm keeping it at Very Good for the simple reason that they don't serve bread prior to the meal, which is something I really like from an Italian food place.
I had Chicken Parmesan and my companion had Baked Ziti. We both thought the food tasted really good. Both were lunch specials, and ran around $8.00-$10.00 each. The dinner choices on the menu were around the $13-$15 range for most things. My initial impression of the portion size that I got was that it seemed pretty small, but at the end I didn't feel hungry so take that for what you will.
Overall I'd say that the food is good but a little pricey for what you get. I'd save it for an occasional visit rather than a regular lunch/dinner spot.
In the style of a high class Italian restaurant, Verona delivers with quality food, very good service and a romantic atmosphere.
