One of the best turkey po'boys, moist smoked turkey, thick slices,poppy seed buns, all the fixings & the fries were 🔥!! Great price. Not able to post a separate review of their breakfast bowl but what a great meal for a great price!! All of BM's breakfast items are delish!!
Sweet as the tea they served us, both the woman and young man had exceptional courtesy and efficiency. Delicious sandwiches (with dill pickles and marinated sliced onions) and sweet tea, one of the best places for brunch/ lunch in town. (Or dinner or breakfast tacos!)
Fantastic place to stop and get a quick affordable bbq plate. Great quick service and plenty of parking around
My pulled pork sandwich was excellent! The seeded hoagie roll was just the right amount of bread, perfectly toasted, and gave way satisfyingly under the chomp. The pulled pork:slaw ratio was right on, and the mustard-based sauce was delicious. I would have probably added a little more sauce if I'd had it at the table, but I got a good taste of the pork, and the pork was fine. Not a huge sandwich, but a very good meal for most of us.
I feel bad knocking this place for its spartan atmosphere. If it were swankier, I wouldn't have felt so at ease in my scumbag cutoffs and sandals. However, I probably wouldn't take a new romantic interest there, either. There's just no pleasing some people.
With some aesthetic work, these folks could charge twice as much. The food is worth it. The team is friendly and service oriented; they're worth it. Otherwise, order for delivery with confidence, even with a new romantic interest.
The brisket is legit. Macaroni and cheese, hash browns are good. Chicken was very flavorful and not too overpowering with crust.
Not a big fan of the links. It was standard sausage. Didn’t taste a lot of smoke.
My family and friends have been going to this location since there were traffic signals on Ben White Blvd. out front. We had a big order so we tried something new. Let's just say that even though we'll continue to be loyal customers, WE WILL NOT BE DOING ANY ONLINE PRE-ORDER EVER AGAIN . We get to the drive thru, and they eventually acknowledge they've received the order. We drive up to the window and they confirm the order before asking ask us to pull forward and park so they can bring it out to us. Spirits were high in the car and we were chatting back and forth. Someone eventually realized it had been a thirty minute wait. I walked in and it was packed up ready to go. Since it was taped up with doordash stickers I can only speculate that they were expecting a delivery driver to come and pick it up. Benefit of the doubt - maybe it was shift change and someone just forgot to tell the next person. I'm sure next time will be better.
Family friendly, quick and courteous service, and tasty food. Overall it was a great experience and we would definitely come back. Ordered a variety of bbq and everything was great. For sides I highly recommend the Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. For dessert the pecan pie was delicious.
We have BBQ in Bastrop. Costs more than 2x's what Bill Miller charges. The BBQ was well seasoned and a delight to eat without sauce. The Tea was just the right strength to make an awesome glass after adding sweetener. I loved the potato salad. I wanted more, unfortunately I am diabetic. The fried okra was melt in your mouth good! I had both the sliced beef tacos and a rib. That rib was so good! My German shepherd Ben was with me and got the rib bone. And a little rib meat.. ok, very little meat! Ben liked everything also. 😀😀

Servicing the appetites of Central Texans for over 65 years this wonderful BBQ chain always satisfies. This location takes effort to navigate to from I-35 but is worth the effort. A sure sign of good BBQ is the number of tradesmen that can be spotted at lunch time. Workers in City, County and School District trucks join others from the satelite, construction and home repair industry. These men know where good food AND good deals are to be found. Clean place, nice people, tasty food at reasonable prices. Why look anywhere else?
