This is a food truck on Rainey Street and is a great place for a huge Nathan’s All Beef hot dog before or after a night of drinking. The name is hilarious, but what can you say? The Owners are young Entrepreneurs and boys will be boys! John and Alex are great Owners and their employees are hardworking, especially in this Summer heat. I’ve had all the lovely hot dogs on this truck. Pictured here are the: Capone (Chicago-style dog) with tomatoes, onions, pepperonis, pickle, mustard, and celery salt. Then you have the classic All American with chili, cheese, and onions (my personal favorite with a line of mustard). The Hangry Dragon has Korean spicy ramen and kimchi with sriracha mayo which makes this hot dog one of the popular ones if you like spicy. The Sassy Girl is the popular one on Rainey because of the macaroni, bacon, and jalapeños in the hot dog. Feeling ultra classy like I did the other day? I got a Virgin dog. All I wanted was some meat and some mustard and I was good to go. They also have options to order Frito pie or a side of macaroni and cheese, too.
The (I believe Sassy dog) was realllllllly good. I’m not usually a hot dog kinda guy, but the Mac n cheese + bacon + jalapeños all made it a plentiful experience. It will fill ya up pretty good.
This place is unlike anything I’ve ever had. The hotdogs are so delicious and truly make me happy. I personally love the Sassy Girl but they are all INCREDIBLE!
My name is Cameron Ellis from Columbia, Missouri and best hot dog I've ever had. The Hangry Dragon
Great place to help out at during SXSW. Really huge Nathan’s hot dogs and good classics that are amped up, too. My favorite is the Hangry Dragon but I love spicy food and ramen. The Sassy Girl is the popular one with macaroni and bacon. Everyone I know grabs a hot dog after drinking because it’s the fastest, easiest, and most filling thing to eat on Rainey St between all the partying.
1) Location was really solid, middle of Rainey Street in a lot with other food trucks provides a great atmosphere.
2) We got the Hangry Dragon - had ramen and sriracha, hella good!
3) Price was a little high, but that would be expected for the location and being a food truck.
Delicious hot dogs. I had the sassy gurl dog and it was so good, bacon and Mac and cheese. My husband had Amurca and it was even better. Going back again really soon!
Food truck in that large lot on Rainy st, had the Capone and the spicy kimchi/ ramen one. Both great, loved the flavor combos and the hot dog itself was good quality too
This place is solid. Efficient, straight forward, and super dog friendly. If you’re looking for a frank while out with your bachelorette chicks, better bring your little nappy heads and get in on this spot. 10/10.
Despite the, uhhhh...interesting name, this was one of the best dogs I've had. Good size...one was enough. I had the All-Murrican. Will go back and try others.
