This food truck is NOT your ordinary food truck. These owners are so very passionate about educating the world about small business sauce owners and are putting out aaaaaamazing dishes with sauces being highlighted through every dish. They cook everything rotisserie style from chicken to delicious fresh local veggies. There's even vegan options if that's what your looking for. Definitely check this incredible food truck out, you will NOT be sorry!

So after searching Google maps for what seemed like 2 hours but was probably more like 30 minutes I found this place and saw all the reviews, photos and of course the nachos that I wanted so bad. So I invited a group of friend out and we made it right before they closed.( They close at 9 on Friday) They stayed around for us never pressuring us to leave. We did see them cleaning and starting to close up so we made our way out around 10:30. Thank you guys for letting us stay and enjoy the beautiful night with our friends and the delicious food. I think we tried just about everything on the menu. It was all delish. I do need to come back and try the sauce bar as my hands were full with a cute little baby. #bestnachosinaustintour

Best sauces you can taste in the state of Texas. Must try their leaning tower and all rotisserie dishes!!!! Also do check out the sauce wagon where you get to taste sauces personally selected by Rod which changes every 90 days. These sauces are made by other small business. This place is situated at a great spot. A perfect place to hangout out with your friends. Also the staff is super friendly ! An Austin must visit food truck.

The food was delicious and owner Rod Crosby’s passion for the new venture is contagious! My favs were the Eastside Nachos and the Louvre’s Lane fried spring roll. Check it out!

Fantastic space for hanging out, they've got a stage with a hot mic for comedy & entertainment, the sauces and the experience are one of a kind. Local, out door patio, coffee next door. Old school games and blocks from the Eastside bars & apartments. They also do a brunch Saturday & Sunday.

Best food truck on the east side of Austin! Everything on the menu is outstanding, best sauces from all around the county, and the customer service is next level. EAT HERE NOW AND YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!

Amazing food all around! The rotisserie fired chicken and veggies / scratch made sauces and a great selection of retail sauces from around the world make this a truly unique dining experience in east Austin. The venue is amazing with a hammock grove, yard games, and safe place for kids to play and run around. One of our new favorite places on the east side!

I tried Sauce Odyssey yesterday with a friend for the first time and was shocked at how cool an area the food trailer had. To be honest we were going to have coffee at revival next door but then we stumbled across this food truck and it was absolutely AMAZING!!! I would rate their fried cheese eggplant dish at LEAST a 9. Didn't know what to get at first but glad I took the chef's advice. Definitely coming back to this place and trying other food they have!

This place is rad! Started off by getting an awesome tour of the sauce bar from Rod, the owner, who really knows his stuff about his diverse sauces. I then went over to the kitchen where I had wings with a "sauce flight" with my three favorite sauces from the bar. The patio is super nice and there is a stage for live music. If you love sauce or great food, you have to check out Sauce Odyssey!

Visited for the first time and ordered one of everything on the menu. Definitely the way to do it. Everything was phenomenal. My favorites were the peach salad with lemon vinaigrette and the roasted carrots with chimmichuri pesto. Was told the menu does change occasionally according to seasonal availability of ingredients so I can't wait to go back and try more. Also did the sauce tour. It's free so just do it. Got to try hand picked sauces from all over the country and hear their origin stories. Such a cool place with a great location. And hammocks! Loved lounging in the hammocks with the breeze. Could've stayed all day talking with the guys. So much to love! Just go!
