the thought in my mind when my enchiladas verdes were served.
I have eating here many a time,good service,friendly people/family,have friends associated with this place. Their food was very delicious.
Went there for lunch. Had a Carne Gisada and Carnitas on flour. Flour tortillas are a bit too thick for my liking. Fillings were fine. Nothing special, but not bad.
Really good chips and salsa actually ticked this up a bit. Will try again for breakfast tacos.
Every time I am in Austin it is a must to dine there, frequently. Genuine family establishment in the trendy South Congress Ave area. Have not had a bad meal there yet. Not over the top in fancy decor....you know the saying, "if the locals eat there".....This is one of those places.
Great place to get brkfst. Fast service, our waitress Amanda was Fabulous! Big servings , highly recommend 👌
Found this place on accident but we always say trust the smaller places they are usually the best. Food had so much flavor, did not disappoint. Service was a little slow but all in all worth a try if you haven't been.
Their salsa is fresh and spicy hot and served with warmed chips. I come for lunch break. Fast courteous service without slack on food served fresh and heat hot. When temps get warmer I would love to try their fresh margaritas and sit outside on their front patio area.
Caught my attention at red light.Stopped in and found a delightful resting stop . LMR has been around Austin almost 30 years .By the layout I’m guessing more than a few wedding receptions may have been held here . Owner waited on me and could not have been nicer .
We stopped for breakfast tacos this morning and were impressed! They offer a large number of options and all were good. Soft tortillas, crisp bacon, fresh eggs, refried beans, and they didn’t skimp on the cheese. Throw in an avocado and a little salsa and you’ve got breakfast. One of also ordered a pancake and it was large and fluffy. Did I mention the price? Most of the tacos were under $2. Good service, although we could have used a coffee refill.

The friendly staff made me feel right at home, providing attentive and knowledgeable service throughout my meal.
Now, let's talk about the food – the true star of the show. Each dish I tried was a testament to the chef's dedication to authenticity and quality ingredients. I started with the classic guacamole and chips, and it was absolutely divine. The guacamole was freshly made, bursting with flavors of ripe avocados, tangy lime, and a hint of jalapeño heat. The chips were crispy and had just the right amount of salt.

We're from Houston and there is no doubt in my mind I'm hitting this place up every single time I come back to Austin. Delicious!!!!
I ate the Menudo it was okay a little bit salty for my taste nevertheless it came out hot and fresh they were really busy so it took a while to get it. But the live music and the dancing was definitely a highlight of this place apparently on Sundays need frequently have bands. Friends / food/ music, this is probably a winning combination anywhere as you go. We had a pretty good time. I would definitely recommend this place for celebrating or just getting together and listening to some good music while you eat in a Gathering of a group of people.
