Finally tried this place out and man, I've been missing out on some delicious donuts. They taste great, they're not overpriced like most other major establishments and the owners are very friendly. I think I've found my regular donut place!
Oh my goodness this place is amazing! Easily the best donuts and kolaches I’ve had in Austin and the best part is they are super cheap. The donuts have a perfect light springy texture and are just the right size. Come here order a dozen donuts and a few kolaches, this place does not disappoint!!!
Great donuts. I've been going here for years. Never get my order right though, even standing right there. Today I asked for some Long Johns (eclairs) at least 3 times, but I guess she though I was telling a story or something. Very frustrating to deal with first thing in the morning. Left without my eclairs
Every time we come to S H Donuts it is a wonderful experience! The employees here are so kind, they always put a big smile on my face, and you can tell they are genuinely happy to be there. Food is always fresh, donuts super soft and delicious, kolaches are amazing too all at a great price. 10/10 recommend! I’d post a picture but it was so yummy I ate it before I could snap a picture. I have been going to S&H for about a decade now and they are the best in town. by far. legitimate family-owned and operated business that has been in the neighborhood for as long as anyone can remember. fantastic product, fantastic service. i always leave with a smile and a few extra donut holes.
When we travel we usually stay at an Airbnb so we can be lazy and comfortable in the morning. Nothing is better to help than getting donuts for breakfast. We don't do chains or tourist places, we like to find local mom and pop stores. Found this and we loved it. The raised donuts were light with a nice crisp to them (think a better quality Krispy Kreme) and the cake donuts were moist and flavorful. Find this place next time you are in Austin.
These are by far my favorite donuts near me! They are super attentive to customers and their prices are second to none. Love this place! Support your local businesses!

The donuts were absolutely delicious! Soft and moist and fried to perfection. The glazed donut had the right amount of sweetness to it, not over powering at all. It was light as air. The blueberry and apple crumb cake donuts were surprisingly light to the taste not really thick like your traditional cake donuts are. It’s a plus really because you can eat more of them 😂. Some of the best donuts I’ve had in a long time.
