We started with the spicy margarita., a great drink! We then ordered from the vegan section of the menu. Both meals were exceptional. Service was also excellent. A great choice for downtown dinning. Check them out.
The menu has a lot of variety and the staff is excellent about describing the food and helping navigate to a perfect combination of flavors. Food was very good. Looking forward to going back for the lunch buffet!

Wow! This place is amazing. The service is great and the staff was friendly. The food was so so good I couldn’t stop eating. Enjoyed the Taj Mahal lager ice cold. No room for dessert! 🤭 If you are looking for authentic Indian cuisine - this is the place!
Papadom is a great spot, especially for lunch with their lunch buffet. I usually make it there once a month during my lunch break because it’s near my office. If you’re looking to make it extra quick, you can Order Ahead using DineWithDash so your food is already paid for and being prepared by the kitchen when you arrive. The decor is on point for what you’d expect at a fine Indian restaurant, and they pay attention to details with beautiful plates, bowls, and flatware.
Very good lunch buffet for about $10. Far better than Clay Pit which is I guess the Austin standard since it's been around so long. This is my new spot! Had some things I'd only had at New India and some dishes and deserts I'd never had. All delicious. Especially excited about the lamb vindaloo.
This was a very delightful surprise. I love the ambiance and the food was awesome. They had some delicious Mughal Lamb Chop. One of the best cheese naan's I have had in the US. Parking is a little difficult but you could pay at some parking spots available but totally worth the trip.
Great lunch buffet with many flavorful options! Some of the chicken was a bit dry, and service was a tad slow, but overall it’s a great and tasty value for lunch in downtown Austin.
Paneer was exceptionally good and fresh, daal was mouthwatering and greavy was good too. Took one star out because of rice which was really undercooked. Everything else was amazing. Really recommend this place for people who loves Indian food. :-)
We didn't have to wait for a table at 7pm Saturday. The service and the food was great. We had a couple of appetizers and ordered 4 different dishes to share amongst all 4 of us. For the price of the dish you get plenty of food. We'll definitely go back for more. I should have taken more pictures.
Delicious Indian food! I was on my way to Jimmy Johns when I happened to walk by Papadom. I love Indian food, so I decided to stop in here instead. So glad I did!! Their lunch buffet had a wonderful variety of both vegetarian and meat dishes. I left full and happy! Highly recommend. ☺️
I usually dont eat Indian food, but my husband loves it. I will say it was very good and filling. We shared the main course dish and it was more than enough for 2 people. I will say very family friendly as well. Will definitely go back. Definitely a great dinner place for a family dinner.
We went as a group, 6 of us on Saturday evening. Parking is around the corner if you want to self park, we used the valet in front of Sullivan who accommodated us. The restaurant was just getting busy. We tried the scallops and calamari starters which were very good. Spiced well not just chili hot. We ordered a bunch of dishes, the curries were all excellent. Would recommend this as an alternate choice in downtown for Indian dining. Noticed a lot of takeout orders when we were there. Food was prepped in time, no long wait and great service. Prabhu is the manager and he was very willing to help make our evening special.
