The food is incredible and the atmosphere is fun and friendly. Seriously some of the best food I’ve ever had!
The food is AMAZING!!! Try the Shiro Wot for sure!! The iced tea is the best you'll experience! The staff is absolutely lovely. Very friendly and will tell you all about the food and it's qualities. Please go, enjoy and share with all those you love :)
5 stars across the board easy. The food was delicious and as someone who has never had any Ethiopian cuisine before I was graciously guided to the right food and instructed how to eat it. The service was top notch, so personable and warm. Absolutely coming back with more people soon!
I had a fantastic experience at the Taste of Ethiopia 2! The ambience is captivating with its themed decor, creating an authentic atmosphere. The food was truly delicious, and I highly recommend trying the sampler to get a taste of various dishes. It's also a wonderful spot for vegans, with plenty of flavorful options. While the service was a bit slow, the quality of the food made it well worth the wait.
Went back to this place after almost 4 years & ordered the same Goat Kikil.
To my relief, it has retained the quality post pandemic.
The injera, tib, doro wot & the strong coffee are all must tries.
This was the best Ethiopian food I’ve ever had! The staff was so amazing and attentive. Fekre and sierra were so warm and welcoming and took great care of us. We will definitely be back!
Come hungry, leave satiated both spiritually and physically. Whether you are a group or solo diner, the offerings are all made with love, providing much needed 'food therapy'. My group dined for four hours, allowing time to truly relish in this unique dining experience. #lifesavor

First off, the service was amazing! Miriam was so friendly and welcoming, along with everyone else, and we immediately felt like we were in the right place after walking in.
The food was also incredible. It was hard to choose what to get, but we ended up starting with Minchet Abish and following with Doro Wat and Tibbs Fitfit, all of which were great! When we come back next we’ll try some other plates that caught our eye.
Try an Ethiopian beer while you’re there too!
It has been a long time since I've had Ethiopian food. So we decided to give this restaurant a try. I am very impressed with their vegetarian combo (Ultimate combo platter for two) platter and it was extremely filling. My least favorite on that platter was the cabbage. Other than that, everything was really good: the collards, the salad, the lentils, carrots with green beans. We added the spicy mitmita. It was a nice kick. I was a bit surprised that it was an added cost though... The Castle Ethiopian beer was good, and I do not drink beer. We left very full and satisfied.
I met a friend here for an early dinner and was very impressed by both the food and the service.
Our server was an older lady (wish I had gotten her name). She was so friendly and so helpful as we tried to decide what to order. She gave us some great recommendations and a little bit of history behind each dish which made our experience even better. It was like being served by someone's Ethiopian grandmother. <3
As for the food, it's served family style just so you are aware. That didn't stop us from pigging out though. We split the Appetizer Combination which comes with Sambusas (think samosas), tomato salad, and Minchet Abish. The Sambusas were nice and crunchy with a flavorful filling (we went with beef). The Minchet Abish is like a ground beef dip with lots of flavor and tasty bread on the side. The tomato salad was light and fresh which matched well with the other two appetizer items in the combo.
For our entrees, we went traditional with Doro Wat (a chicken curry), Shiro Wat (stewed peas), and Gomen (collard greens). All of these items were absolutely delicious. I think our favorites were actually the two vegetarian items. The spices and cooking on them just really made them shine.
I look forward to returning in the future to try more dishes. :)
The food was authentic and truly amazing. The portions are generous as well. I wasn’t able to complete my lunch and had to do takeout. This place has a comfortable atmosphere and the highlight was our server. She was so nice and told us many things about her culture. I highly recommend and I’ll be going back again soon.
The food was phenomenal!!! We got the mixed platter and of course had to add my favorite, Doro Wat. The staff was incredibly hospitable and kind. My friend has a dairy allergy so they made sure to keep the butter on the side and gave us the best recommendations for dishes that didn't contain dairy. This is definitely on our rotation list for top places to eat.
