Came here for brunch and got a Philly cheesesteak sandwich. It was really yummy, though on the more expensive end for a sandwich ($16.18 including tax). The meat was pretty flavorful and the cheese was wonderfully melted. The thing came out piping hot!
The only downside was it took a long time to make, like 15-20 min. I was hoping for a bit faster service, but the food was good so it's only a minor knock.
Long wait. It was nice eating outside. Our sandwhiches were good, but I think I expected more for a Pastrami sandwhich from a Jewish Deli...the ladkas were served w sourcream and applesauce, but they were huge, so it was like eating hashbrowns. My wife's chicken Philly was good. Overall, friendly staff, a long wait, good sandwhiches...but I fon't see wgat the fuss is about.
Ordered a corned beef, egg and Swiss breakfast bagel. It was okay, lots of egg, more corned beef would have been nice. Not a lot of spice to either egg or cb.
Friendly service. Reasonably priced.
Jarring note - the bin for disposing trash did smell a bit.
Just a wonderful neighborhood deli. First, they use local baked breads that are fantastic and always fresh. Next are hot and cold sandwiches both traditional and unique and then there is great deli counter food as well. Service is top notch. I highly recommend this spot whenever you are in the area.
Today was my first time here! My Doctor's office is down the street and I had to fast for bloodwork, so I was starving. A warm toasted bagel with fresh schmear really hit the spot. This location is easy to get to with plenty of parking. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and my to-go order was ready in no time at all. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area.
Food is delicious, staff is nice and helpful- as for atmosphere, I mean it's a deli doing mostly lunch business so it's lowkey but it's got inside and outside tables so getting a seat isn't an issue if you're dining in. Wish I lived closer to them, I'd be back often! Anytime I'm in the area I plan to visit again for sure!
Good food with generous proportions. A bit on the pricy side but still tasty nevertheless. I wouldn't ask for customizations on the sandwiches because I never get it. I usually (and recently) get a turkey and muenster and whenever I ask for bacon on it, I never get it (the receipt even has it it red bold letters and i nvr get it :( ). That and the high prices has somewhat sullied the experience, but still they have good food.
This morning (8/29/23) there were about eight of us old guys dining at various tables. The food was good and the service was fine. The problem was the loud rock music pumped in over the system. We should have been able to talk to some quiet klezmer music.
My sesame bagel had a great chew to it with a good helping of cream cheese. My latkes were large and thick. I strongly recommend selecting them as your side, but they make an excellent meal too. Employees have always been very friendly.
I appreciate the COVID precautions in place.
Atmosphere: Busy local bagel and sandwich shop
Service: Quick counter service
Food: The turkey havarti sammich was good, with tasty turkey and cheese on ciabatta. Unfortunately, they forgot the avocado I ordered. The chopped iceberg lettuce could be upgraded. Strangely, I was told they don't offer the sandwiches on bagels?
I did try a sesame bagel, which was nice and chewy with perhaps an overabundance of sesame seeds.
Pricing: Moderate
