They have a huge baklava selection. It's a real treat when my husband and I host guests and treat them to delicious authentic Mediterranean food. Their appetizers are great (try their muhammara, it's vegan, GF, and delicious!) and the owners and staff has always been very nice and friendly to us. I highly recommend them!

This is seriously my favorite restaurant in Austin. The food is always fresh, consistent, and delicious. The variety of flavors and textures between all the sides are a delight to all the senses. The owners are incredibly friendly and the atmosphere is open and bright with great lively middle eastern music. A perfect lunch spot. My favorite is the lamb shank, hummus, and coriander potatoes. Make sure to split your sides in half to try more variety; and don't worry, you'll still have lots to take home.
I just found me a new favorite restaurant! Literally everyone who works here is so kind-hearted, the food is fresh and flavorful, the servings are plentiful, and the price is right. Also since the food is already ready, you get to eat without the wait!
I felt very easy just staying here for a while at a table by myself. It felt like such a welcoming space.
Peace bakery is a gem. Their food is always delicious, hot and fresh. The family that owns this place is very community centered- always doing something special for those in need. My favorite are the beets (sweet and sour), the coriander potatoes (spicy), and the spicy hummus! My mouth is watering just thinking about the food! And you can’t go wrong with the baklava (my fav is the pistachio). This place and the family who owns it will always have a special place in my heart. They deserve all the good business they can handle so please do give them a visit ASAP!
I have been coming here for about 12 years now. It is absolutely amazing! Always fresh and always delicious! The family who owns is often there and they are lovely people! I highly recommend this place - especially for vegetarians! You won’t be disappointed!
Only got a picture of the coconut baklava because I ate everything else so fast! It was my first time here and the service was amazing, very warm and pleasant people. The food and desserts are perfect. Lovely overall and I will be back. 🇵🇸❤️
Perfect cafeteria style Middle Easter restaurant. If I were still single, I would never cook. You can buy a pound of beef swarma and bread to go for sandwiches or sit down for a great meal. Very easy going family run restaurant.
Wonderful Mediterranean/middle eastern food place hidden on the corner of N Lamar and next to Chinatown. I didn’t realize I actually had been here before during the pandemic and it was so good. You order in an assembly line style like chipotle and you can choose to build your plate however you want. Each day they’ll have a daily protein special but the other items stay the same: hummus, fatoush salad, chickpea, potatoes, falafel, pita, etc. For how much food you get the price is very affordable and we always leave with leftovers. Please don’t pass up this little gem when driving by it’s worth the stop!
Usually, after an experience so refreshing to the soul & satisfying to the pallet, I would tend to lean toward waxing loquacious. But sometimes, less is more and I'm stuffed, more or less. If you enjoy a taste of the Mediterranean you owe it to yourself, your taste buds and my new friend Ali, who fed me and treated me like a friend when those @ St. Vincent de Paul treated me leprous. Come, all those who love good home cooked style food. Come, all those who value value & who appreciate real human beings.

**I gave the atmosphere 4 stars bc they are having landlord/AC issues. I was extremely comfortable and almost took a nap but in order for you to be fully informed......I do it for the fans, man. And they have fans, man.
I LOVE this place. A little pricey, but the food is excellent and made to painstaking detail. The buffet available every night has such a variety of incredible food. They generously add like 5 free pita when I order. The guys behind the counter are really nice and personable. Good service. The inside ambience is pretty sparse, but I am here for the food. Keep it up, Peace Bakery and Deli!
