A seriously great spot. I had dinner with a few folks the other night everything was too-notch: the wait staff was friendly, kind and efficient; the atmosphere was relaxed and modern, welcoming to anyone who wanted good food and good people; and the food was out of this world. I’m not a huge shellfish fan (although my sister’s shrimp were the largest I’ve ever seen and she raved of them), so I got the reddish sandwich. Most fish sandwiches come with a small portion of fish, ya know, the one that’s too small to serve as an entrée? Not here. The redfish was huge, and cooked to perfection. The brussel sprout hash was probably the best thing I’ve eaten in a long time. I could go on about the food for a long time, but the service was awesome too. It’s counter service, so things come out as they are done and I loved that. Everything was piping hot as it arrived. Before it arrived though, we were greeted by staff ensuring we had all we needed. They came by again periodically to ensure everything was as it should be. Highly recommended.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place. Recently went here with a group of friends and the experience was awesome! The food is fantastic Texas comfort food. My buddy had a lobster plate that was delicious. I had the shredded brisket sandwich which I very much enjoyed. The beer selection is fantastic and the atmosphere is casual and wonderful. It's the perfect dinner (or lunch) spot and located in the middle of everything. Can't recommend this family friendly place enough. :)
We had such a great girls night here! Our waitress Taylor really went above and beyond making sure we were cared for. The oysters were great, and the Caesar salad was a truly great surprise of a dish. Will definitely go again and recommend anyone in the are to check it out
Delicious food. Service was fantastic! Went for brunch yesterday with two friends. Crab fried rice was delicious, hush puppies were amazing, and the bloody mary was delicious and nice and boozy. Can’t want to go back.
Tried something new.
This establishment takes reservations but the place was pretty empty when my husband and I arrived. I think we beat the rush.
We shared:
Raw Oysters - Husband could not get enough of these lil critters. He absolutely loved the freshness and flavor.
Andouille & Cheddar Hushpuppies - Surprisingly good. I was leery of the andouille in it but it all blended together well. A bit of spice but not too much.
The Boil - Dungeness Crab (as they were out of Snow Crab) with Smoked Garlic and Lemon Garlic Butter. This was d e l i c i o u s! The crab was fresh and cooked perfectly. The Smoked Garlic it was cooked with did not overpower the crab at all. I would order this again when I come back.
Redfish and Crab - Was not really worth the money it costs, to me anyway. The Husband was practically drooling over it he liked it so much. I was not that impressed, I preferred the crab in the boil instead.
All in all we had a pleasant experience. The restaurant has a nice ambience, was clean and the staff was friendly. As we were leaving it started to get busy, so certain times of the day a reservation would be best.
I recommend this place.

I was visiting from Miami, Florida and I went to TLC Austin for lunch with family. The staff was very friendly and our waiter Garrett was awesome. The place has a relaxed and casual vibe even though it was 106 degrees. The food was amazing and affordable and the service was fantastic. I definitely recommend TLC Austin and I will be returning whenever I'm in Austin.
I so wish that I found this place sooner! Food is all amazing but that Atomic Shrimp is crazy!!! Atmosphere is super fun and the staff are all fun and friendly. Side note, you get a free package of crackers every time your server walks over…to be honest, it can end up being a lot of crackers.
If any of the owners read this, put a banner out front that mentions the type of food y’all have because it took me too long to figure out the amazing stuff coming out of your kitchen.
Incredible experience thanks to the most amazing waiters Allie and Max. They were remarkable, super kind and helpful. the food was so delicious! The Bubba sandwich was in this delicious crispy bread, the $1 oysters were so good, and the star of the show was the brisket chili!
Chole was our server and she was very knowledgeable about the menu and items that were available today. I enjoyed her walk-off because she had a literal pep in her step. The food was amazing and my Paloma was delicious 😋
Found this spot when searched seafood while in Austin...
Easy to find... Park garage next door.
Place was well taken care of... Very slow 🤔 at the time... Sunday at lunch..
Had a couple Bloody Marys that were top notch...
Had the raw oysters 🦪... They were very good.. Horseradish was good and strong...
Hush puppies are off the hook... Very delicious
Gumbo... Probably one of the best you can buy... Close to being homemade good.
Finally.. we got the lobster 🦞... They did a wonderful job with it...
Over all a hidden gem 💎 in Austin..
This place is great. We really liked the gumbo, we like a dark roux and they nailed it. Hush puppies and redfish were excellent. We also highly recommend the cherry limeade made with deep eddy vodka. Also we loved the order and pay from your table application. And you can just keep adding to your order. It makes the process so quick. Our pup loved it here too!
This was my favorite restaurant in all of Austin and the state of Texas while I lived there for a year. It's one of the few places that I miss there! The food is absolutely incredible and delicious! The fried okra was a must! TLC Austin is an absolute treat, and a must when in Austin!
