Being native Argentinean, I knew I wanted the best food in the world at our wedding. So naturally, we had BAC cater. Plus, since we've been friends of the family for years, we knew they would take care of us. They showed up on time with all their own equipment and made our cuisine dreams come true. Everyone was over the moon for the mouth watering empanadas, salads, steak and diabetes inducing cake that the head chef arranged for us. We have leftovers for days and everything is still delicious. Jen and I want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the amazing service and amazing value you brought to our hearts and stomachs. Love, The Scopps

Simply fabulous! Service was great, food was impeccable! Salmon and filet - cooked to perfection, melt-in-the-mouth deliciousness! Dessert - ah yes, best tiramisu ever! Music - beautiful! We'll be back!
I will come back for sure.. Before 6pm, you can't order from the full menu, but we tried the milinesa and the chorizo and was to die for. Its not a cheap place, but the price is more than fair, because of location, food, and service. Can't believe this is the same place some people complain about bad service.
Stumbled upon this place on a random stop in Austin. Came in a little after 3pm and was initially disappointed that we could only order from the happy hour menu... even after seeing the menu I wasn't particularly amused. But WOW was I surprised at the quality of the few options available when I took the first few bites! I don't think I've ever encountered a menu so on point. Our waiter Adam was awesome and had tons of knowledge about the restaurant, it's owner and all of the menu items. Would go back to this cafe in a heartbeat. I love places that love the food they serve. Cheers!

My absolute favorite restaurant. The atmosphere and food are romantic and will make you fall in love! Try one of the specials - you will be amazed. Off the menu, everything is great from the pork tenderloins to the gnocchi. Great selection of wines and the best desserts ever. I love Buenos Aires!!
Adore this place! The empanadas are to die for and I could drink the chimichurri. I actually prefer lunch there better but they have great live Argentinian music on Wednesday nights. Other must try dishes include the milanesa, lomito steak sandwich, spinach salad, lamb chops, all their soups and heavenly deserts! Yes, service can be a little slow, but it personally makes the experience more authentic for me.
Highly recommended!. My first experience with Buenos Aires Cafe' came as a suggestion from my wife after a long day of yardwork. I hadn't eaten any breakfast, and was ready to tear into something really substantial. My spider-sense was tingling like crazy, as I was half-expecting a foofoo menu with entrees fit for a unicorn.
The day was saved when we discovered a menu full of enticing and unusual dishes, ample portions, and intriguing flavors. The empanada appetizers were so good we actually ordered a second round after we'd finished our entrees. The panqueques crepe desert was the perfect ending to a very satisfying, pleasantly surprising meal.
The prices were quite reasonable, and the value, in my opinion, was exceptional.
We'll be back many times, and I'm guessing by the overflowing crowd that was streaming in, many others feel the same way.
Love the food. Have only done lunch. Our second time there, after waiting 15 minutes and waving our arms, "nobody told the server we were there." Open your eyes! The place isn't that big & not very crowded at 1:00 PM! Maybe one of the two hostesses should help the one server. Oh well, despite great food, you're on probation. We won't be back for awhile. Bee Cave & Lakeway have too many places with great food AND good service!

Unique and Excellent - a new find in Bee Cave. We have been to Buenos Aires Cafe several times, twice for dinner. Literally everything we've had has been really good or excellent. The menu is short but they seem to have thought through each item very carefully, maximizing the items that are there. We've sampled all of the Empanadas, the Gnocchi, Enchiladas, Pork Tenderloin, stewed Chicken and Salmon. They do an especially good job with sauces as well as vegetables and the wait staff is very attentive. The wine list is fairly extensive, much longer than the menu, and everyone seems to have wine on their table. There is also a large variety of house-made desserts, as the owner is a pastry chef. This place is really a find for folks in Bee Cave looking for something a little different style, with excellent quality. The people in Bee Cave haven't seemed to have found out about it yet. All 3 times we been there hasn't been a wait to get a table. I wish it would continue to be easy to get a table but my guess is they'll be packing them in soon.
Argentinian steakhouse is synonymous with romance and Buenos Aires Cafe will impress from start to finish. The original location is charming, but the Hill Country Galleria location is also a delight. Definitely try Chef Morris’ Verdura Empanadas and the Churrasco Con Fritas with the signature chimichurri sauce. Delish.

A good restaurant choice for an Argentinean dinner. The Argentinean cuisine is truly remarkable, offering a delectable variety of meats and delightful desserts, particularly those made with dulce de leche. This restaurant is quite good, and the service is satisfactory. However, it didn't quite give us that special feeling. Our order included the Pollo and Carne Suave empanadas, which were flavorful and had well-seasoned meat inside. The small Parrillada we ordered featured good meat, with the delicious being the pork and beef. As for desserts, we tried the Quatro Leche Cake and Chocolate Mousse. Unfortunately, the desserts didn't quite meet our expectations, though we did enjoy the Quatro Leche Cake more.
Located in the beautiful Bee Cave area, LOVED the Milanese (beef cutlets). They were cooked perfectly and the chimichurri is absolutely delicious. I came in on a slow lunch day and our waitress was new to the job but was very knowledgeable (we asked quite a few questions) and ingratiating. Pair any meat dish with a glass of wine and you are looking at an amazing meal.
Had a wonderful Memorial Day happy hour. Great food, drinks, dessert and good service. The Argentinian style tapas, “shepherd’s pie” and quatro leches were incredible. Highly recommend trying this restaurant!
Atmosphere and staff is great. We walked in for a late dinner and we were welcomed and relaxed throughout our meal. We had the cheese plate - right portion for 2. I think better crackers would of complimented the great cheeses on the board. Gnocchi melted in your mouth delicious and it was so light, the sauce was fresh and tasty. Some bread to soak it up would of been a nice option to have. Perfect empanadas! The dulce de leite cheesecake was good. I will definitely return for the filet and fries with chimichurri sauce!

We’ve been going to Buenos Aires at the galleria for years and they have always had great Argentinian food. Their empanadas are the best. It is a must. My favorite is the spicy beef empanada. We also tried their provoletta, melted cheese appetizer for the first time tonight and loved it. They have happy hour till 6. There are some good deals if you get there early enough. Cocktails half price and discounted menu items. French 75, mojito, margarita, etc. I usually have their Milanese which is fabulous. My husband tried their burger which is new to their menu. He loved it. They also excel at desserts. You literally cannot go wrong. I had the spiced chocolate brûlée this time. It was fabulous.
Their staff have always been super nice and helpful. They have a cute patio to enjoy the beautiful fall weather. Highly recommend.
What a great find! We started with both souve & tuna Empanadas; beautifully browned pie dough wonderfully complimented by flavorful filling accompanied by Chimichurri sauce. They were light, not too filling. (Someone needs to start delivering these!) Rob had the Argentinean Shepherd's Pie (pictured), which was a lot tastier than the English version. The Pork Tenderloin (pictured) i ordered was topped with Chimichurri & drizzled with sour cream. Served atop Yukon mashed potatoes with a haricots verts side, I savored every bite!
For dessert, Dark Chocolate Crusted Cheesecake (pictured). Amazing! Size was perfect to share. With their coffee (very European), what an ending to a fantastic meal.

Such a nice treat when I get to make it out here to Buenos Aires Cafe in the Galleria. The staff is always so kind and welcoming and I’ve yet to have a mediocre dish here. Everything is always so fresh and delicious! Can’t wait to go back!
The food was great, the place is small and cozy and perfect for dinner on a Saturday night. Try the beer from Argentina and the empanadas! Make reservations to avoid standing at the entrance as it can get crowded.
Very good restaurant and a delicious food, a little bit far from Austin downtown, the prices are high and the quantity is a little.
