We visited the place after almost four years. Ordered a family set lunch and to our surprise they've kept a pretty good quality of the food they served.
The soup was tasty, liked by all.
The BBQ trio was good, except the soy chicken might need some improvement to rid the taste of frozen meat. Char Shu was juicy and fresh. Roast duck was good but a bit salty.
The fried pork rib was super.
The beef/Chinese broccoli was fresh tender and flavored just right.
We loved the fish clay pot very much. It was tender, fresh, and no fishy taste.
Overall experience was great, we'd come back again.
Very tasty. We ordered and duck and chicken plate and it was very flavorful. Authentic. This will be our new spot to order Chinese bbq from.
I’m now convinced that 3.5 stars is the sweet spot for Chinese restaurants if you want good food.
This restaurant is recommended by a friend and the BBQ combination (roast pork, BBQ pork and marinated chicken) taste great! The ginger oyster is fantastic! My friend told me to try the lobster but I will try it next time. Stuffed with such nice food.
Also the service is great and will definitely come back next time when I travel to Austin again.
This was our first time here for our friend's birthday and we were not disappointed! The waitress helped inform us that the food is served family style which was great because the portion sizes are large. Everyone ordered something different and we enjoyed it all. Everything was fresh and delicious. We've been back twice since then. The duck was fantastic!
Food was Delicious and Service was amazing. Truly one of the best Chinese Food experiences I have had. Duck Soup was hearty and could be the best Crab Rangoons I have had. Portions are huge and definitely could have gotten away with ordering less but what a great problem to have with food this good. Over 100 items and I am sure not one is a bad one!
Since moving to the Austin area it was hard to find good authentic Chinese food. But Ho Ho hit the spot. Probably one of the better Chinese Cantonese style restaurants in Austin. Staff was very friendly as well. Will be back forsure. Ordered the fish mah soup, Beef flat noodles, snow peas with garlic and xo fried rice, mapu tofu, and rock salt chicken.
I introduced the restaurant to my westerner friend living south who craves for duck one late night after shopping in Chinatown. We both enjoyed the succulent roasted duck wonton noodle soup. when I discovered misplacing my sentimental value fleet jacket from my beloved mother, I contacted the restaurant. Lee the manager actively get on the case locating our receipt and reviewing the camera to confirm I left with my jacket on. I am impressed of their hands on service and reassurance and will sure bring my group of friends in for more delicious dishes!
First time in Austin for a swim meet. I craved some authentic Chinese food and stumbled upon this place on Uber Eats. I saw their menu had roast duck, pig and some Chinese BBQ. Had to have it. I ordered some pea pod leaves, Chinese pork bbq and roast pig, fried quails, and chow mein. One of the tastiest authentic Chinese food in Austin. If you crave real Chinese food, give this place a try. This place has really good food at reasonable prices. I had my food delivered because I was too lazy to drive. Definitely a must have when I return to Austin next year.
I come here twice a month at least I loved them food Excellent authentic Chinese food my favorite is the Peking duck of course👍 and the roast pork! friendly staff …
