This is the most delicious Mediterranean Restuarant ever!!! I’m extremely picky eater, so there is not a better place to eat with a huge selection of vegetarian options—healthy and super delish, low carb—keto options, awesome salads and to die for sauces, etc.
One of the better buffets I've ever been to. They keep the food fresh and everything is delicious. My boyfriend and I go here all they time. The lamb on the weekend is to die for!
One of the best Mediterranean restaurants not to miss out on . Wonderful food with the essence that fits home made food . Mesmerising variety of non vegetarian dietary plus the desserts which make u skip the main course way easily which easily need more than one visit to taste them all at least once. Overall 5stars.
As the name says, this is a buffet place with lot of options for vegetarians as well as meat eaters. You can also take out food by the pound. There's roasted egg plant, potatoes, tahini sauce, hummus, falafel, baked fish, chicken kebabs, Greek salads, Baba ghanoush, tabbouleh, lamb shank and all the other Mediterranean feast you can imagine. Eat all you need. There's a good variety here. And don't forget to enjoy the sweets - baklava, rice pudding and honey bread :) they also have a good amount of seating area. So also good for office team lunches.
After the first loaded plate I had to go get a second one and got more tabouli and hummus. The gyro meat, kibbe, and fish were all good and my companions raved about the lamb. They're constantly baking more fresh bread. Lots of ethnic patrons tell you it's the real deal.
If don't want to do a churrascerria. This is a pretty killer buffet, and everything is very good. The bread right out of the oven is excellent. The buffet price is higher than most, but a lot less tan a churrasceria. So, overall I give it a thumbs up.
First try at Mediterranean food. We used a Groupon, had no issues. It was a surprise that we had to pay tax on the Groupon.. a whole $1.98.
The people were pleasant, the place was clean, there was an abundance of food choices. We tried the lamb, chicken, beef, rice dishes. fried cauliflower, potatoes, desserts, etc. All of the food was good.
Absolutely divine food! Beyond amazing since new management!
Wonderful experience! Food was delicious ! The gentlemen who checked us out was very gracious even with us using a Groupon. We will be back soon.
We loved it. Used a groupon here tonight and out dinner was so good I got online again to see if there is another current Groupon. There is! Yea! The food was excellent.... All the many salads were fresh and cold, crisp, refreshing.
The hot foods were wholesome, fresh, hot, wonderful. So many to choose from, and we especially loved the roasted fresh vegetables, the fish, the basmati rice with veggies and almonds...the rice pudding for dessert, and unsweetened mango tea...refreshing. The waiters kept bringing out tray after tray of fresh, tasty food. And they keep the food bars so clean, no spills, all very inviting..... I'm not sure why the others on this site didn't love it...we eat out a lot and it was outstanding. The manager and the waiters were very nice to us, welcomed us and thanked us.....Thank you, Dimassi's....(p.s. I've never reviewed a restaurant before, but Dimassi's deserves this review rated "Excellent." Try it for yourselves!)
My husband and I had trouble agreeing on where to go for lunch. We wanted to find a buffet, but most of the ones we came across were either high in carbohydrates or only had lettuce. Finally, we stumbled upon Dimassi's Mediterranean Buffet, and what a treat it was! The buffet had a great variety of options for both vegetarians and carnivores, including fish, soups, freshly baked bread, coffee, tea, sodas, delicious desserts, and fresh chopped fruit. We were also impressed by the warm and friendly service. We enjoyed the experience so much that we are already planning to return soon, this time with our whole family. If you're looking for a great buffet, we highly recommend Dimassi's on Research Blvd.
The food here doesn’t disappoint. They have a buffet with a variety of Mediterranean dishes to please your pallet. The pita is made fresh and is delicious. Rose water is very earthy while the tamarind water is very flavorful. There are many other dishes offered here than pictured. Be sure to try it out! I’ve been visiting them since 2018.
This authentic self-service open concept buffet is a rare treasure trove of mediterranean cuisine! This place is truly a gem for those looking to explore culturally.
I do have to say the service is non-existent as intended. No one is picking up plates and your drinks are self serve. That said, the food experience more than satisfies a five star rating. I have to recommend the avocado hummus 5/5, baba ganoush 5/5, kibbeh savory and not dry 5/5, rose water 10/5, chicken thigh 5/5, baklava 5/5. As a value tip, you can get 1 lamb shank per person but you have to ask the hostess. It's dark lamb meat and fairly gamey, which I love, but I know it can be off-putting to others.
Flavor 5/5 authentic robust flavors
Service 2/5
Value 5/5 - much cheaper than Austin buffets
Atmosphere 5/5 - authentic music and cuisine
Wonderful cuisine, spotless environment, stunning ambiance, and an extensive array of nutritious options. From diverse salads, meats, and fish to three varieties of rice, potatoes, gyro, and beyond! The pitas proved to be both scrumptious and freshly made, the hummus boasted incredible flavor, the baba ganoush highly impressed, the Baklava and Namoura simply melted away in delight. Every dish we savored was bursting with authentic flavors and deliciousness.
Our heartfelt gratitude for a fantastic late lunch experience at your establishment! 🙏
Best Mediterranean food by far. My gosh I was impressed with their service and cleanliness. I will definitely be returning several times! This Mediterranean place is my new favorite 😍
Mezes were good. They are good sides for your main dish. However there were some problems with their main dishes, especially with the lamb and pulled beef in a tomato based water. Lamb shanks are one of the most delicious part of the lamb. We tried them but it lacks the taste. It was so plain, no spice and salt. Same for the pulled beef. Pulled beef was also incredible chewy. Other than that, the dessert variety may be enriched and rice puding may be served in single cups. Overall, the other main dishes were good, especially gyro was incredible and rice variety and taste were really good.
We liked the place, we’ll be coming back. Nice variety of meet and vegetables, drinks. And it’s not only Coca Cola yay!
The only thing I didn’t like it is people who don’t look after their kids in common area and allow to grab some food with bare hands. But it is not the staff problem, it’s parents.
Great mediterranean buffet. A lot of salad, hummus spreads and meat. The dessert options are also great. Around $19 for weekday lunch buffet.
Excellent selection of fresh Mediterranean favorites in a buffet/all-you-can-eat setting - good eating
Every time I come here I forget to take a picture of my plate because I’m just so excited to eat! The food is amazinggg, the pita bread is always fresh and warm. The hummus is great and falafel is so good. My favorite dessert they serve is without a doubt, the baklava! It’s soooo amazing!!
(Please see the pics below 😍)
This is only location I’ve tried and the food is always great, everyone there is mindful so it’s a great place to enjoy the meal.
