Had a fantastic dinner here. They had the steak special with corn and potatoes, which was perfection. Enjoyed the roasted cauliflower and meatball dishes for appetizers. I don’t think I’ve had a more juicy meatball. So good. Great for our vegetarian friend as well- lots of options!
I have always been happy with BJ's. The deep dish pizza takes awhile to come, but it is worth it if you can wait. I've been a handful of times and gotten pizza, pasta, burger, and fish. They were all good (although the fish was the least exciting).
The beer selection is also pretty good if you enjoy trying different beers and they also make some of their own soda, which is definitely worth a try. They will get you a taste of their drinks if asked, so don't be shy if you are curious.
Beer and Avocado Eggrolls. The beer is always great...especially the seasonal offerings, like Abbey Normal. The avocado egg rolls are always great, and my kids love the little corn dogs.
I have ordered burgers here and my only complaint is that apparently medium well = medium = medium rare. That is, I haven't found a way to order it to get anything other than somewhere between medium and medium rare.
The bacon blue and the California burger are both great, despite my aforementioned grievance.
Oh...the kid's personal pizza is not very good, either. But the root beer is outstanding.
The food is good and service is good too as long as you are not expecting too much. In my opinion the menu is too large and diverse. I think it would benefit them to reduce and specialize. In shirt, great foe drinks and appetizers only.
Great lunch spot - wide salad selection. This place is owned by the same group as Cheesecake Factory. They really have the huge menu with many options service down pat. They offer a wide selection of lower calorie options, plus some of the standard Cheesecake Factory staples.
Good addition to north Austin. This place was packed for happy hour during the week, but after finally getting a table, it was a good experience. The fried artichoke hearts are really good, and cheap. The buffalo chicken pizza and spinach artichoke pizza was also really good!
I didn't try a lot of the beers that they brew, because they had a couple of my favorites on the wall. They have a great beer selection!
All in all, I will go back. I am glad to have it as an option in north Austin.

We finished the meal with their Triple Chocolate Pizookie. It's a big brownie cooked and served in this shallow tin dog dish looking thing with a big scoop of chocolate ice cream and a square of Ghirardelli's chocolate. Very rich, very decadent and quite the lady pleaser. Steph was all ooooh and ahhhh over it.
The happy hour is hard to beat. Great specials on apps and drinks. Bartenders are great!
My coworker alerted me to the $10 burger Wednesday. I had the brisket bacon burger. The 5 stars are for the burger alone. It was delicious. Fries were crispy and warm. Bathroom was clean. I love the separate to go ordering counter.
Nothing like this place for lunch on a Saturday. Awesome food and drinks were served up to me by a nice waitress named Sophia. She was very attentive and made our visit very enjoyable! All of the staff are pleasant and seem to greet all of their customers with a smile. Huge tvs are throughout the restaurant for all of your game watching pleasures! They have a huge parking lot, so parking is a breeze! If you play pokemon go, there's a pokestop inside the restaurant! Love going here!
I'm not done, this is a partial review. Their home made salsa is out of this world! The smokey finish is amazing. The wings were ok, I'm weighing it up against wing zone so... the ribs were ok..jus ok! Chillies I think has more cooked in flavor but...😒🤷🏾♂️
Had the best BJ Experience in a long time. The food was absolutely perfect that day. Ribs very juice, fries crisp and the Monkey bread Pizookie the best I ever had.
Don't get me wrong, the food is always good, but this time it was better then ever.
The gluten-free pizza we chose had a nicely baked crust, fresh vegetables, a tasty sausage. Not a slice remained.
The mini deep-dish extreme pepperoni pizza was off the charts with pepperoni spiciness. Typical round slices, small chunks, and "strings" cover this tiny pizza.
The mozzarella sticks arrive in plenty, but did not have a good flavor to us. The crunch was not there and there was something off about the taste.
Our server was very pleasant, did not hover, and engaged us in great conversation.

Friend loves the pizza here n picked BJs for his bday dinner choice. We got here quite late n tried to rush to order. Jonah was awesome and made us feel comfortable and enjoy our dinner. He was friendly and professional, made us feel like he was really going above n beyond to make my friend’s bday dinner enjoyable! Plus the pizza n avocado rolls were excellent!
Really good food and the service has gotten so much better since last time we came. I’ve never had such a delicious and crispy Caesar salad.
The place is clean and welcoming with good music, bar area and TVs. Also a nice view of Mopac.
A great place for casual lunch, dinner or simply for "happy hour". I got that "this is just another sports bar" feeling as soon as I walked-in, so I was genuinely surprised by how many house brewed beers they have and how extensive their menu is. Their staff is very friendly, but also the restaurant wasn't busy at all when I went so I couldn't say if their service is good when it's busy. The food very is good. I would go back.
