Absolutely delicious 🤤 I have heard from a coworker about this place for a long time and finally tried it out. The gelato and coffee are mare right in front of you. The store is small but feels very cozy. Highly recommend!

This is an update on my YouTube review of them over seven years later!
Parking still sucks. Not much you can do about that.
Customer service crew here is legit Italian and everything is high quality, especially with coffee combos!
70% chocalate is the best in all of town and will melt any coffee chocalate lover like me with a sweet tooth!
Plenty of seating inside and outside at their old fashioned wooden tables and chairs which just adds to the legit Italian new age music ambiance and peace in this rare little spot of South 1st st! :)
Nice and quiet.
Also super small but always clean one stall restroom for both men and women.
They also do gelato sandwichs, ice cream smoothered in the 70% legit Italian chocolate fresh on the spot daily.
They also do lots of Pistachio spread and Hazelnut spread combos with your ice cream or coffee to appeal to that alrare hard to find taste palate ;)
Again be careful coming north up south 1st st to turn in and park towards back which has falling apart pavement and dirt parking. They have no control over this and I pray the land Lord would fix but not holding my breath

Could park off Annie's and walk over which many do to get here and totally worth it!
Yes, you can sample their 12 core Italian flavors, but none beat the legit chocolate especially in Affogato form! (Gelato of your choice with espresso / coffee)
They also do a phenomenal hot chocolate and pints and quarts of their gelato to go!
I love Gelato and I love trying new flavors. Dolce Neve Gelato delivered! I had the butternut squash and amaretto cookie Gelato and my husband had creama and lemon zest. I know the butternut squash might sound off putting too some, but it was an amazing savory component that was enhanced by the amaretto flavor. My husband's tasted like fresh creamy lemon! Adorable place with inside and porch front seating.
Amazing gelato place with great sorbet flavors. Must try if you trying to a good gelato place.

Seating space is limited with 4-5 tables inside.
Parking is quite limited with 4 spaces behind the establishment.
Approach road is kinda tricky and exits right on the street. With a traffic light just nearby, can be sometimes difficult to spot the car entrance.
Polite staff and quite helpful.
Prices are reasonable.

Have been to Dolce Neve so many times before and have been meaning to write a review! It’s our go to when we are wanting some quality ice cream. Their homemade flavors never disappoint. Our favorites are stracciatela, pistachio, and salted caramel. We are faithful patrons and will always return!
Stopped by Dolce Neve on a warm January afternoon after lunch. The parking lot was completely full, there is only room for about 4 cars, and there was a bit of a line inside as well. There was only one person working in the front, so it took about 15 minutes. I noticed there was variety of flavors, some pretty unique too.
Overall, I did really enjoy the gelato/sorbet here, the hojicha tasted like sweetened green tea, but not too sweet and not bitter either. The grapefruit sorbet was really refreshing with the perfect amount of grapefruit bitterness that it tasted authentic and still enjoyable.
If you're craving ice cream and you're in the area ppease make a stop here. I promise you won't regret it!
Super cute littoe building. I was so charmed by the design and strolled right in. Their ice creams are all homemade and they're always coming up with new flavors.
It was a hot day in Austin and as you can see from the picture they were quite busy but it wasn't a problem. I got my ice cream quick. Decided to go for a whole pint since I was sharing with my family. I went for a blueberry crumble flavor and also nutella! Seriously a great combination :)
I will 100% come back here if I'm ever in the area again.
I highly recommend this ice cream shop to anyone visiting or from Austin and need to cool off on a hot sunny day!
This was the only ice cream/gelato place around the “welcome to Austin” mural for tourists to stop by in the harsh sun for a breather. It’s a cute spot and their gelatos are super light. I tried the salted caramel and friend got vanilla, they were both great. Might seem a little pricey but the taste makes up for it :)
Cute little shop, surrounded by beautiful murals. We got salted caramel, pistachio. Pistachio was good but salted caramel I thought lacked flavor. Oh well, go there for the ambience.
