Really great pizza place. Authentic taste, friendly staff, cold beer on tap and interesting but not overwhelming options. We had the margarita and the Bianca, both excellent, if you can't decide get a small of both. They can't do toppings on just half, which is a small bummer, but that's digging deep just to find a small complaint. This is our new go-to place in town!
First time here & we wer greated with a kind & helpful gentleman who walked us through the menu & helped us with a selection. Atmosphere was open & welcoming & the pizzas were outstanding! Great place & highly recommend.
Ordered the lasagna and the pig 9 inch personal pizzas that are available for lunch only. We thought this size would be too small, but both had one left over piece to take home. The spicy garlic butter was delicious with the crust. The crust on its own is chewy and flavorful, just as it should be! We highly recommend this place and their pizza.
One of the best pizza place in town.
Perfect balance of tangy sauce, basil and dough. Salt is perfectly balanced in the flavor of the dough. Charred from the oven is too good. Pizza is thin so you better eat it fast. We ordered a 16” pizza. Good for 2 people.
The absolute best wood fired pizza I have ever enjoyed. It is truly an art to perfectly and repeatedly cook wood fired pizzas. The dough is delicious and the garlic butter is a must add for finishing every piece of the delicious crust. You gotta try this place. Salute!
Delicious pizza made in wood oven in Austin, very similar to original Italian one, original Italian beer. Finally original Margherita pizza doesn’t have tomatoes and garlic on the top! There are different drinks for your choice, great fast and friendly service, don’t need to wait even 10 min and you have your pizza directly on the table. Cannoli are good but don’t have same taste as in Italy, probably American version with chocolate chips on the sides. Don’t need to book a table. Liked the atmosphere inside. Absolutely recommended to try pizza here!
I never knew! I’ve driven by this place dozens of times and always looked away. This place is FANTASTIC! Amazing ingredients. I got the Italian chopped salad and the Diavola pizza. Both are outstanding! The salad is fresh and every bite tastes different. The pizza is so different. Great dough great toppings. Oh and I added the spicy butter, it is a must for crust! Run to this place!
I am impressed with the quality of the food! The pizza has an incredibly thin crust, lots of delicious toppings, great meat and cheese!!! And sauce was fresh and yummy 🤤 this is the best pizza I've had in Austin! Fast, high quality and incredibly tasty! I recommend it!
Cute place with some nice decorations. It's in a great location with relatively easy parking. The pizza is pretty good, not great. Ordered extra crispy on the bottom since Neopolitan pies tend to be soggy in the center. This place was no exception, very soggy and wet in the middle of the pie. Undercooked on the bottom. Their stone temperature is definitely too low causing the top to cook faster than the bottom. Pizza oven temps are a difficult balance to get right as the balance between top and bottom heat require a lot of time and experience to get perfect. It's nowhere near the worst I've had and if you don't mind a soggy bottom crust then you'll love the excellent toppings.
Really really good but I think the bottoms of the pies need to be cooked on a hotter deck... I understand VPN rules, even went to their 3-day training in LA but most of these aren't intended to be true Neo pies. Get that deck a little hotter for a less doughy base! I love your place though... My favorite in north Austin!
The pizzas speak to my heart
They seem so so authentic, have super fresh ingredients, send you to cloud 9
They can't get a little soggy & all the ingredients might fall off, but that's okay, the pizza is worth it
The service is uber fast, the pizza arrives in a jiffy
Had a lot of fun eating the pizzas here. I ordered two Vegetarian pizzas namely the Margerita DOP and mushroom pizza
Definitely one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. The gentleman working the counter on 10/14 was very helpful and thoughtful — while DeSano can’t do half toppings, they were able to serve the sausage on the side for the San Gennaro, which was well balanced and just the perfect pizza.
Condiments bar was fresh and impressive as well — Calabrian chili oil, fresh minced garlic, chiffonaded basil, EVOO, DOP aceto balsamico.
