I had a lovely lunch of Tortilla Soup on the tree covered deck while waiting for my daughter to be finished at one of the surgical facilities nearby. I also enjoyed some gelato, which to my mind is the best there is in Austin. Coffee Crunch is my favorite. The only negative is that a grackle pooped on my head as I sat in the sunshine enjoying the crisp day, but it was a small price to pay for such great, and always consistent, food.
I love this place. It has everything! Great place to find hard to find and unique items. Their cafe is great and staff is always friendly and helpful.

Every Saturday, this place hosts concerts. The wonderful children's playground and the incredibly cool atmosphere, especially in the evening, create a fantastic experience.
I had the pleasure of attending one of their Saturday evening concerts, and it was truly memorable. The live music added a special touch to the already amazing atmosphere. Families gathered on the spacious outdoor area, with children enjoying the playground while adults chatted and savored delicious food and drinks.
The venue is family-friendly and welcoming. The children's playground is well-maintained and provides a safe and fun space for kids to play, which is a big plus for parents. As the sun sets, the place transforms into a magical setting with ambient lighting and a cozy, welcoming ambiance that's perfect for socializing or simply enjoying the evening.
The combination of live music, a great play area for kids, and the warm evening ambiance makes this spot a winner for weekend gatherings. I highly recommend visiting, especially on a Saturday night, to enjoy the unique and lively experience it offers
We recently stopped by Central Market (N Lamar) with out-of-town guests to pick up a few things. And, we wanted to show our guests around the store. We live farther away from CM than in times past, so it's not often that we're in that part of town. CM market is an amazing place full of just about anything you could want. Almost every section of the store is over-flowing with the "the best of" whatever you're looking for... produce, meats, seafood, beer, wine, gelato, bakery, soup and salad bar, etc. You name it. We didn't have time to sit down at the CM cafe, but this is a place to get consistently good grub. Recommend CM, even if you're not going to shop for groceries, it's a cool place just to wander around!
My partner and I come here very often. One time we came at 8:30 pm and we’re practically kicked out at closing because we were strolling down every aisle and section and lost track of time!! There’s so much to see and buy here, exotic things and special products. We especially love their bread and the mocha Katz coffee is one of the best ever.
My fav groceries place over the weekend, fruits and veggies so fresh. So many various and international groceries and etc. today they run a theme known as “Passport Portugal” and exploring the Portugal culinary food. Is a wonderful experience. We love the desserts and cakes.
Central Market is one of our favorite markets in Austin, and it's truly exceptional. The variety of vegetables, greens, and wild mushrooms is impressive, and the selection of fruits is extensive. We particularly enjoy their homemade sausages, especially the chicken sausage with cranberries and pistachios. The kebabs they offer are also delicious. Additionally, the market boasts a wide range of European products and international foods. The pastries they offer are another highlight, always delicious and freshly made.
Love shopping here. Wide selection of everything. Parking sometimes can be tricky, as this central market is located inside a very popular plaza.
The floral department at the N Lamar store created beautiful center pieces for my mother in law's birthday celebration. I gave the florist a price range and color request. The arrangements were so lovely. I got many complements on the flowers. This photo shows one of the arrangements a week after the event and they still look great!

The only reason I'm docking a star is because parking is not fun. The store is amazing, and both the cafe and restaurant are delicious!
The playground with seating is a huge bonus for families, and the concerts are a fun way to spend an evening, if you get to go!
This is the only grocery that I look forward to visiting. The fresh produce section is extensive and always has something interesting to try. The meat and seafood counters are staffed by helpful, knowledgeable staff and have some incredible options. And I have never seen so many types of cheese anywhere else! Don't skip the bakery; it is pure pleasure. The variety of food from around the world changes regularly and is fun to wander through. It gets crowded on the weekends, but it is still worth a visit.
