Love love love this bakery!!! Pumpkin cream cheese muffins were divine, breads were perfect, the apple pie and pumpkin pie were so good I'll never make my own again!! Just as amazing were the sweet people who were there to help me through my first H&F Bread Co. experience!! I can't wait to come back to my new favorite preservative free bakery!!
So three loaves of bread, a couple muffins and a couple croissants set me back about $25 bucks. When the quality is that good, it's totally worth the price. Try the asiago sourdough, it is incredible. I only wish I had gotten there earlier in the morning so I could have enjoyed the bread fresh from the oven.
Great bakery and baked goods. Remember that this is a full on bakery, not a restaurant. You can call ahead and place an order for different breads and treats like Scones. Or simply show up to buy anything on the shelves. Their baked goods are truly awesome and well worth the "side trip" instead of just getting whatever from your local grocery. They sell high quality, same day baked goods, that in my opinion blows away anything you could buy at the grocery store.
Go there and try it, you will not be disappointed in any way at all...!!!! (Especially if you buy the Sourdough Bread)
The quality is exceptional and they have a great variety. My favorite item is the caramel bacon popcorn. You'll get addicted and start day dreaming about your next visit! My husband loves to buy buns from here for his cookouts. The price is great and they are made fresh daily!
Best bread in Atlanta! I'd make a meal of bread and butter daily if it was socially acceptable and healthier - of course! Anyway... I love H&F's whole grain bread (I forget the name but they usually only have one whole grain option), pain au levain and the heirloom wheat <-- probably my favorite. I usually get the bread at my neighborhood farmer's market. It's consistently delicious and fresh. There are no preservatives so it spoils quickly but freezes beautifully.
They offer a variety of other baked goods including sweet and savory scones, muffins, pretzel bread and more. I tend to stick to the loaves of bread to use for breakfast, sandwiches or with dinner.
I wish the bakery had wider distribution for the public but it may work in my favor to only have access to it once a week.
Great, artisan breads and friendly service. Bread is of course fresh daily. All bread is made without preservatives, so don't buy more than you need, but it does freeze well.
Picked up a shipment there. Fast loading, plus they gave driver some free cookies.
Everything H&F Bread Co. has is AMAZING! We were blown away by the smells of the fresh baked bread, and seeing them in-action is breathtaking! This is a company we would recommend to the end of time!
This could very well be the best bakery in America. It certainly is tops in Atlanta. It is worth the trip to their modest little retail operation just to sample the variety of spectacular breads that they create.
Bread is phenomenal. Seems more manufactured and less artisanal than it was in years past... Too expensive. ($13 for 12 mini ciabatta)
The best bakery in town. I've never had anything from there I didn't love. They have awesome bacon caramel popcorn too!
I am so in Love with their chocolate chip cookies, blue berry muffins ect. Every baked foods and no foods as vegan products is extraordinary 👍.....
