The food was great. We did a carry out and the food didn’t take long to get bagged. They didn’t have plastic spoons or forks though. This was my first time eating lobster and it was a great experience. I got the twin lobster tails with a substituted side of baked macaroni, Lemon pepper wings and fries, and the jerk egg rolls. The manager is also very nice and welcoming.
I enjoyed every minute of this place. Food was phenomenal BUT our waiter/bartender made our visit perfect. Drinks was superb, got a chance to meet the manager as well Down to earth vibes, all positivity!.
The food was delicious. Jael our server was very friendly and helpful, we received outstanding service. The Cajun pasta was delicious and the zucchini was perfect. I'll be back.
Jay's Kitchen is very cool... I attended a bday party in the room to the left & it was a nice set up. Really great people work there & the owner came & made sure everything was A-OK. Their food was very good & I'm a very particular vegan!
I went here last night and everything was very nice! My date took me here and he ordered us the fried lobster tails which were AWESOME! There was a live band and the waitress was very kind. The food was beyond amazing so fresh and tasteful. I ordered the colossal shrimp with fries and man they were nice sized and fresh!! Loved my experience.
Enjoyed this 3rd iteration of a restaurant at this location. The fish & grits was really good just a little more breading than I like. Many dishes were very salty as well. Great service! Shout out to Irene our waitress
Hubby and I went last night for an impromptu dinner. Live band was awesome and engaging. Food was fresh and tasty. Wait staff was professional and informed. Ambiance is casual and remniscient of a lively neighborhood restaurant. We enjoyed the experience and will definitely return.
Great service and food!! This was definitely a pleasant experience. My waitress Brittany was great. She was down to earth and professional. The live music was a cherry on top. This is one black owned business I will return to.
Perfectly seasoned fish. The grits were amazing. Service was awesome. I pray continued success upon this restaurant. I'll definitely be back. Thanks for getting us in and out in a timely fashion. Keep up the great work.
They are currently in a soft opening phase, so fluctuations in quality of service and wait time for food may arise from this. With that being said, the food was excellent, and our server was very friendly. I see a lot of potential for the restaurant to do well and I think in a month or so the operation will be running along pretty smoothly.
