Yes, it's Chinese food, *not* American Chinese. Go elsewhere for orange chicken or beef with broccoli (you might be disappointed).
Would highly recommend dry hot pot with fish (dried cuts of fish, cumin seasoning, lots of vegetables), spicy chicken (I don't know how they get it so crispy), red chili oil wontons or the master dumplings, salt and pepper fish/squid (not spicy at all but perfectly crunchy), and twice cooked pork. All but the pork pictured here.
First time here. Pretty good Chinese food at a reasonable price. I got the spicy minced pork noodles (Dan Dan noodles) and they were pretty tasty! Hot and fresh too. I will say for 10 bucks it was a little steep for what it was but I still enjoyed it and am happy to support a local business. I will be back to try some other food.
Atlanta's Chinatown is not quite a Chinatown... It's more of a food court, so don't expect it to be something extravagant (or even close to it) like LA, NY, or SF. That being said, there are some great spots there! I tried out China Kitchen, which is excellent for fast and cheap food! The food is delicious and so inexpensive - everything there is around $10 or less. My favorite dishes I got were the eggplant with garlic sauce, spicy chicken, and salt and pepper fish.
I love coming here and I have never left disappointed. I usually stick with the same few items. The beef hot pot and really any hot pot is a great choice. I love the Mongolian beef and the hot oil pot stickers. Everytime I come here I leave feeling warm inside like a great hug from your grandmother. I always feel at peace and in balance after eating here.
There are a several Chinese food providers in the Chamblee China Town complex. Several of the reviews I’ve read posted here are obviously, from the pictures and comments, from people who ate at places there that are not China Kitchen. If you enjoy or want to try real authentic Chinese food that’s not “American” and loaded with sugar, Kitchen is one of the best places in Atlanta. The quality and taste is unbelievable especially with the portion sizes and affordability. China Kitchen has catered large parties of/for Chinese Nationals for me for several years and they always rave about how good and authentic the food is and line up to take the leftovers home. I HIGHLY recommend!!!
Ordered dry pot, mapo tofu, and spicy master dumplings from China Kitchen. Ordered the chongqing chicken and szechuan fish from Chongqing Hotpot - the vendor directly to the right of China Kitchen. The gentleman managing China Kitchen was extremely courteous and friendly as he brought out our dishes to us at our table. He even mentioned that he used to cook authentic Chinese food at a really nice hotel in China before. Absolutely loved the Spicy Master Dumplings from China Kitchen as well as the Szechuan Fish from Chongqing Hotpot - highly recommend these two dishes.

I never heard of this place before and when I saw it on GrubHub, I thought it was worth a try. I ordered the “Seasoning Beef Dry Hot Pot” (spicy), and a side of spring rolls. The order arrived quickly, correct and complete, and packaged well for delivery.
The beef was cooked and spiced really well and was tasty. The spicy part was accurate...it wasn’t overwhelmingly spicy, but most definitely let you know it was there!!
Interesting mix of veggies that worked very well together. Surprised by how well the potatoes fit in the mix. Never had lotus root before and my personal jury’s still out on those. The rice was cooked perfectly and the side of spring rolls (comes with four) were excellent.
Overall, the food was delicious and came with generous portions. I always try to form my own opinion so I’m not biased by other people’s comments (I don’t read reviews until after I try food). I was surprised by some of the reviews, as I really enjoyed the food. I would certainly order from here again.

i tried the Chinese beef burrito, so good. Service is great and everything is fresh.
I've been going here since i was 6. Over the years ive seen menu changes and mamy more updates. It's nice that the people whom work there appreciate their customers. But sadly as the years go by the place is being ripped apart. Service has declined and take out as good as it was back then. Top 1 Gourmet, is the spot i usually go to but with the change of the soup taste and their menu im disappointed that its not as good as it was.
I've been here several times and tried different dishes, each time I enjoyed myself. Presentation is great and their dishes have a lot of flavor
