Good food, good service, dim sum any time. I stopped in to Dim Sum Heaven simply because it was a Chinese restaurant I hadn't been to before. The place was very clean, all the decor and place settings are new, the water is filtered, and the staff is friendly and attentive. I didn't ask if they're using the filtered water machine to make the tea, but the tea was better here than in a lot of Buford Highway Chinese restaurants, so it's likely. We ordered regular menu dishes and dim sum items -- all were very fresh, cooked to order, and tasty. The dim sum menu is pretty extensive, with many kinds of dumplings, bao zi (stuffed buns), and other items. They're open till midnight on weekends, and I'd recommend it especially for when you really want some char siu buns or sticky rice at non-dim-sum times. This is a decent addition to Pinetree Plaza's assortment of restaurants, and a good place to consider for off-hours dim sum.
The food was really good, the salt &pepper shrimp is the best, i really like it so delicious.
Best option also for dimsum lovers, they have a lot of choice and the dimsum also good.make sure you are not come in the peak hours, otherwise you have to wait like me because i came on lunch time. The place is not really big, so when during lunch or dinner you will have to wait to be sit.
Service was okay. Definitely will come back to try different dish here.

Many options to choose from on the menu. You can't go wrong when ordering any of the dumplings. Food is always piping hot when brought to the table and service is quick. A family favorite when we want that authentic taste. This place is no-frills, but definitely worth a visit.
Delicious dim sum experience. The wall is covered with pictures of all their menu items which makes it really easy to order — we were a party of 2, but suggest coming with a large party so you can order everything on the menu. We ordered the below, but highlights were the pork dumplings, shrimp and cilantro dumplings and soup dumplings.

Love this place! Super affordable prices and the portions are HUGE. Also PSA, the photos were taken after we had already eaten. Also get the bean bun!! So yummy
First time here this evening and loved it. Arrived at 6:30, not crowded, so was seated right away. A few reviewers have mentioned the wait for food and I think it's important to note that everything is steamed or fried when you order. Which means you're getting it fresh. No dish took more than 15 min, and many came together. All that to say check them out, support a local business, and enjoy the free jasmine tea while you decide how much dim sum you can eat.
Tried the Dim Sum experience for the first time ever and was very pleased. We went for lunch and it was not too crowded. The staff were friendly and helpful. We got a variety of steamed dumplings and buns and all were pretty tasty. My personal favorite was the fried rice cake dumpling. Try them with different sauces too!
Great Dim Sum!! They do not push around a cart. Instead, they have you order the dishes you wish to eat and bring them out to your table as soon as they are ready. Best fresh food and fabulous quick service. We have been here a few times and will be returning soon.
Dim Sum Heaven is a local gem. It is located in a strip mall along the hallowed street of Buford Highway. There is plenty of parking. There is usually no wait time to get seated here.
This is an order off the menu (or point to the photos on the wall) type of place. There is no cart service.
The food is cooked to order. It doesn't take too long to come out, roughly about 5-15 mins depending on the dish.
The fried food is crisp, and the steamed food is hot and juicy. The portion sizes are generous. The menu has an array of options. For example, there are many alternative options to red meat (i.e. chicken shumai, minced fish bean curd rolls, and all the various shrimp dumplings). The dessert buns are warm and sweet. The pineapple salted egg yolk buns have an amazing lava custard.
Tip: Another table asked the waiters for advice on what to order. The staff seemed pretty friendly with recommendations if you have any questions.

Where are the dumplings in Georgia?
Read an article about where some of the best could be found. Dim Sum Heaven in Doraville was mentioned.
Today, I thought it my civic duty to drive up and try it out.
There were plenty items from which to choose. I ordered steamed pork bun , chicken and chives dumpling , shrimp dumplings, shrimp and vegetable soup and chicken and vegetables (entree).
Here's what I found:
1. Staff pleasant.
2. Food pricing reasonable.
3. Portions are ample. No skimping. The steamed pork bun was huge! Loved it!!!
4. Ingredients tasted fresh.
5. Most was nicely seasoned but not too salty.
6. Food came out hot!
My only regret is that I didn't look to see if they had any spring rolls. Probably did because they had an extensive dim sum menu posted on the wall. I was focused on dumplings and buns.
There is indoor seating or takeout. No outside dining. There is ample parking as the restaurant is in a mini strip mall.
I arrived before 5:30pm on a Wednesday and there was no wait to order. I was given 20 minutes to pick up. I walked down to Dollar Tree and by the time I finished shopping there and walked back my food was hot and ready.
I will go back to try some other items off the menu. But first, I must try out some other restaurants I read about in Doraville that have dumplings. Let's see if the reviews are right!
In the media, I saw someone recommending this proud building hotel, saying that Cantonese cuisine is the mainstay, and I came here for admiration. In the vicinity of doraville's original China town, the hotel decoration was rather old. When I went there at noon, there were quite a lot of people, and I ordered several dishes, seafood family photos, stir-fried Niuhe, preserved egg lean meat porridge, shredded pork with fish flavor, pork noodle burger and steamed chicken feet, all of which were very wonderful. They should be authentic restaurants made of Chinese food in Atlanta. The boss is said to be the chef.
