Quintessential Middle-eastern food, flavorful and bold! Everything we ordered was hot and fresh and the staff is friendly and very kind. I didn’t know what to order as a side and they were kind enough to recommend their favorite.
Marrakesh Mediterranean Kitchen is located on Ponce De Leon Avenue, right inside of the Ponce City Market. The chicken pitas is really good, definitely one of my favorites. Perfection in a pita. The gyro was just ok, definitely over cooked, the meat was too crispy. The seasoned fries were my favorite, they also have great sweet potato fries also. Fresh hummus and totally fresh ingredients! I will try again.
Nice selection of Mediterranean dishes in an upscale setting of Ponce City Market. So enjoy some shopping and have a meal at several unusual eating establishments. Food was cooked to order and fresh. Service was efficient if not overly friendly. We had chicken shawarma and gyros with delicious seasoned fries. Food was a little pricey but in line with other restaurants in the market.
Lamb kebab was tasty and a decent size portion. Carrots were fresh and flavorful but pretty small portion. The cauliflower was great and the pita warm.
Visited from out of town and ate at Marrakesh. Their menu had a decent amount of options. Prices are pretty expensive but considering the setting of Ponce City Market it wasn't anything absurd. The shawarma I ordered was good and the serving was satisfying. Wait time was about 15 minutes.
Got their falafels plate, with roasted cauliflower and pickles. Not the best falafels I had but their surely are tasty! The size is perfect for sharing too. The menu clearly indicate what it vegetarian and except for a few of them containing yogurt, almost all the vegetarian choices are vegan as well! Just be sure to mention it and to ask if anything contains yogurt. Service was fast!
Marrakesh has a lovely menu and the cashier who took my order was very helpful and friendly. I would give more stars since the gyro I ordered was very good, but my husband’s order ended up being prepared with the wrong sides. I would definitely recommend the food here, but I would suggest checking your food before walking away.
FYI: parents with small children / picky eaters - they have a great kids menu!!
Delicious middle eastern food(beef sausage especially) with large portions. The cauliflower and carrots sides are very tasty.
Very good food, and the employees were very nice and helpful! This was my first time trying falafel and it was amazing!
I love this restaurant! Their chicken schnitzel is amazing, it's not to dry or over seasoned, it has just the right amount of everything. I also love their fries. They season them with a seasoning that taste super delicious. Their pita beard is so soft and warm with an amazing flavor.
The employees are always super nice and friendly. Whenever I am at Ponce City Market (and I'm hungry) I have to stop here. Their food and staff is amazing. They are my favorite Mediterranean restaurant.
