I go out and eat a lot, maybe a little bit too much, but last nights experience was one of the best I have ever had ! I have eaten here a few times in the past, but it has been awhile since my last appearance. My son turned 18 last night and he had never been, so 5 of us showed up and from start to finish it was an awesome time and Sammy treated us all like Family !! The Wine list is one of the best, an the Surf n Turf is a Huge favorite for myself and my son Taylor !! I’m not waiting for a special occasion next time to enjoy dinner here, I’m thinking about coming back again this Friday night for more !!

I love eating steak. This was my first time eating at the location for my birthday. I ordered the Prime Bone-In Ribeye at a medium temperature. The steak was seasoned perfectly; however, the steak had too much fatty meat, which killed my taste buds. Overall, the food was delicious, and the waiter was very knowledgeable on the menu, which made it easy for my wife and I to order our food.
It was all great (minus the lobster tail). We had the fried lobster appetizer and it was amazing. The garlic bread was great. We also had lobster bisque, the prime bone-in ribeyes, grilled lobster tail and mashed potatoes. I felt like the lobster tail added to my steak wasn’t worth it, but I’m here for everything else. Drinks included. Will definitely return soon. The steak was seasoned very well with a great grilled taste and cooked perfectly. The lobster was a little salty and thin. Waiter was great.
Hal’s is always a great steakhouse choice in Atlanta no matter the occasion. This has become one of my favorite steakhouses over the last year in the area and it is always consistent and never misses. The service is phenomenal, food is consistently good, and ambiance great.
They do have Valet Parking available which is great for this area ($5). Gentleman you must be dressed correctly (check the dress code), however you will have an amazing time!
For this trip, I had an old fashion and a Manhattan for my drinks which were A1! For food, I had the Mac n cheese, Brussels, skinny onion straws and the 22 oz bone in rib eye (cooked medium).
Everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Steak was a little over cooked for medium, but still great.
Again, the consistency here has kept me returning and not wanting to try new steakhouses! Highly recommend trying out this staple in atlanta!
Excellent place for date night. I ordered the lamb chops, chopped salas and Bae had the sea bass and lobsterbisque. We shared the bread pudding.
Service was excellent and would definitely dine here again.
Delightful! I had high expectations from this joints reputation and reviews, and it was great! Every dish we had was delicious, the drinks were good, and the service was great! Also the steakhouse decor/ambiance with live music. It’s not cheap, so keep that in mind. Even the sides are 11-18$.
We went all out with 3 appetizers, two mains and two sides and dessert and drinks for two people. It was way too much. Maybe one appetizer, one side and two mains would have been enough for two people. The house red wine was great!
Great steakhouse. Ordered the NY strip (not on the menu - it was a special), filet mignon, & brussel sprouts.
When you order a steak, a side comes with it. The options were spinach, mashed potatoes, & salad (cant remember 100% about salad).
Steak was cooked very well; it very juicy & flavorful!
Highly recommend getting a reservation because it was definitely crowded.
Hal’s will not disappoint! Valet was $5. The only issue I have is that the lighting was a bit dim, but I assume it’s that way for the intimate setting.
Amazing food and service! Bryan was our server and matched our energy for my wife’s birthday the whole night! We enjoyed his company and professionalism. I order the ribeye 22oz and lobster tail grilled. It came out perfectly cooked. If you’re looking nice dinner, I highly recommend coming here.
I was here for a birthday celebration with 11 guests. The service was good and the food was so delicious. I highly recommend the duck.
Nice place to meet and have dinner. On the night I visited, the restaurant was bustling. Service was outstanding as it seems that the waiters come by regardless of who is in charge of the table. From a service standpoint, this place shines. The drinks and desserts were top notch - very well made. The sides were great as well. I just wasn't thrilled with Hal's steak. It was good, just not a thing that would drive me to return. So, I question the value for the price. At those prices, I expect near perfection. Wasn't quite there.
Came for a friend’s birthday dinner. There’s a parking lot across from the restaurant. Valet was $5. Was unpleasantly greeted with cigar smoke upon entering. However, we sat on the second level which was non-smoking. Our waiter, Hakan, went above and beyond and provided amazing service to ensure we had an enjoyable evening!! Food and drinks were good and reasonably priced.
