The Georgia Beer Garden is fantastic - the indoor and outdoor spaces are comfortable and beautiful, they have an incredible selection of local beers, and their food is delicious. I'm so happy this place opened in my neighborhood!
Their staff has been helpful and knowledgeable every time I've been - I'm a fan of sours and Belgians, and they've been able to recommend a new beer every time I've visited. Their beer selection is great, and it's such a welcoming and comfortable space. I would recommend it to anyone
Awesome place - introduced to it through D&D night they host along with Joystick (across the street) every Monday and Tuesday. Great food and awesome drink selection. Also, they carry my Supporter's Group (Resurgence) beer - Rowdy and Proud by Three Taverns! Great outdoor area too.
Edgewood has free street parking after 7PM, so is convenient as well!
Ownership needs to get the word out in the neighborhood how cool this spot is! More events like D&D or partner for tailgates with someone like our Atlanta United SG will drive a lot of good word of mouth for a low cost.
The relaxed bartender is handling the nicely curated and rather broad selection of beers with confidence and charm. Carbonation of beers was good, no off flavors detectable, and prices on the lighter side. The warm, woody and only slightly funky interior leads to a spacious garden area that welcomes you with hippie charm and plenty of seating.
I ordered the sausage dog and baked Mac and cheese. I was very surprised how much flavor and how unique the sausage dog was! It was very juicy and perfectly seasoned. The baked Mac and cheese was delicious and crumbly.
The beer menu was very large and included flavors from sweet to fresh. They offered authentic flavors found in Georgia.
The inside of the restaurant was very clean and contemporary. I definitely recommend this place if you are looking for something different and flavorful.
Decent food and drinks . The bratwurst was really dry and over cooked. I have had a lot of dogs in my mouth over the decades, but the ones here were "eh". However, awesome mac n' cheese! The folks working here are friendly. The atmosphere is pretty relaxing and warm. Great building architecture. They stop serving food at 10 PM.
I️ loved this place. They’re still working the kinks out, but the beer is great and the service is better. I️ arrived early afternoon and was the only customer. They treated me like a friend and were very patient while I️ sampled the selection on 24 craft beers. I️ ordered a bratwurst to accompany my beer and watched the crowd arrive. One guy from Chicago killing time before a wedding, a hipster couple, a big family group, a middle-aged guy who was thirsty, they were all there. You need to try this place.
Had my going away/engagement party here after meeting my FIANCÉ on a tinder date there 6 years ago. Sad GA beer garden isn't serving their waters but the space is great, Long Snake makes some pretty tasty snacks and spritzes.
First time visiting and was very impressed! It’s a beautiful building and a fantastic outdoor space (which I imagine will be slammed on any nice afternoon). The menu wasn’t very extensive, but it was very good. I actually ordered more food after the initial order because it was so good.
I believe that all the beers are local GA beers. The menu was pretty good. However, the prices were probably a good $2+ than that you’d pay most other places.
Definitely a good spot to hang with a group of friends though.
Amazing place chiill good vibes
Highly recommended! Wonderful bartender and a very good draft list, exclusively from Georgia breweries. Bartenders are very willing to give samples to ensure you will like your ultimate choice. The food is top notch and high quality. The sauces are really incredible, probably the best part of the food. I will definitely return next time I'm in town.
Great beers! Incredible atmosphere!! Even more amazing service!!! Shannon was the “bees knees” (inside joke) and was incredibly helpful and we had such a great time we didn’t even bother bouncing to the next spots we had in mind.
The area isn't my favorite at night so just be aware of your surroundings, but I did really enjoy this place. They had good drinks, and the backyard/patio area is huge. Going during the warmer months would be fun. There's a cool themed bar upstairs that isn't associated with the Beer Garden, which I thought was cool do you have options.
