Pricey but sooooo freaking good! Each time. They don’t put alot of beef in their mangolian beef but still always so GOOD love this place
I've never had a bad experience at Fortune Cookie. It's actually my favorite Chinese spot. I'm American so I don't know if it's Americanized Chinese food or not but what I can say is they use some fresh chicken meat! I love their General Tso's! Also love that I've been going there for 8 years and it's still the same lady at the door taking orders. Maybe she's the owner and she's nice!
Fortune Cookie is located at 2480 Briarcliff Rd NE, Atlanta GA 30329 in the shopping center at the South-Western quadrant of the intersection of Briarcliff and North Druid Hills - this used to be called Loehmann's Plaza but with that retailer gone I'm not quite sure what the complex is now called. The easiest access is from Briarcliff coming down the hill - you'll see a Dollar Tree - Fortune Cookie is almost right next to it.
I have gone to the Fortune Cookie for years and the food is consistently EXCELLENT. They serve the best hot and sour soup in Atlanta. The staff is courteous and attentive and the food always arrives hot and is delicious.
Very nice inside and out, big parking lot. Excellent & fast service, delicious food. We had the dinner for 2, about 25$. We'll definitely be back!

Fortune Cookie, a great place to dine. Whether for lunch or dinner, their food is always very good, fast service, and a friendly staff in a warm restaurant. Their prices are very reasonable and the location is excellent---although the parking lot should be completely re-drawn. Well, that's not their fault but the only negative comment I have.
Consistently great food and wonderful service. Favorite dishes include beef with broccoli, Mongolian beef, steamed veggie potstickers & almond fried chicken. Nice quiet atmosphere. Also very fast & efficient takeout.
The best. The food is consistently superb. NYC style and the best in Atlanta. Try the cold sesame noodles, the Sa Cha beef. Sizzling rice soup is a family favorite. The owners and staff always remember you and what you like to eat. I've eaten there at least 30 x in two years.
I'm baffled that this place doesn't have 5 stars. I've been going here for years and I can say without reservation that Fortune Cookie has some of the best Chinese food (This kind of Chinese food most Americans are familiar with) in Atlanta. I've tried many items on the menu and have NEVER been disappointed.
My favorite dish is their Mongolian Beef. It's the best I've ever had in my entire life. So delicious! Their hot and sour soup is also the best I've ever had anywhere.
Lastly, you HAVE to try their hot mustard sauce. I think they must make it fresh in-house because it is the most incredible hot mustard I've had anywhere..ever. Half the reason I got here is for the hot mustard sauce. It'll clear out those sinuses instantly.
The one "negative" thing I'll add, just for the sake of honestly, is that the dining room can get a bit noisy when the restaurant is busy. But it's worth it.
Great place for lunch with fast service and great specials including soup, rice and spring roll. The food was all good with some of the best crunchies for the soup and a nice selection of sauces provided for the spring rolls. Our server had lots of personality making little jokes during refills and while bringing food. Overall great and fun.
This is by far one of the best Chinese Restaurants that I have found in the area in a long time. The food is absolutely amazing, it's obvious they put a lot of care into making it delicious and full flavored. The hot and sour soup was actually spicy and thick with all of the expected flavors popping vibrantly from it. The crab rangoon was also excellent, expertly fried crispy, not soggy and high quality breading. The sesame chicken was crispy and obviously fried when I ordered it and not fried in advance sitting to the side to get soggy, and they use the better, darker and sweeter sauce instead of the red vinegary sauce which I dislike. There weren't very many drink options but the Chinese beer they serve is very tasty as well. The staff was very quick and attentive and my food came out really quickly. This is a hidden gem in this shopping center but I highly recommend it.
This place is my *go to* Chinese spot for lunch! Food is always hot and tasty, the service is always warm and kind. I highly recommend trying this place out 👍🏼
When I lived closer to the area, I went here once a week. I came back recently after several years to find the same delicious food and speedy friendly service I remembered. You can’t go wrong with Fortune Cookie.

Hot, fresh American Chinese food. Crispy veggies were a welcome surprise.. prices were a little steep for what came out on the serving plate, but everyone at the table had positive comments.
Delicious balance of savory and not-so-salty. From crispy egg rolls to sweet and sour pork, garlic chicken, and chicen low mein, every bite was flavor filled!
This was my SPOT when I lived on the northeast side of Atlanta throughout college. I still come for the hot and sour soup alone. They also do a great Buffet on Sundays!!!
Omg !!!! This place was great overall . I have been back so many times since . A nice calm dining area. Plenty of free parking. Never a long wait , everything was hot and fresh . Service was great nice bubbly and friendly . So many things to try I’ll be back again lol . Food be so good I for get to take pictures every time lol . Go check them out !!!

House chicken lunch special for under $10 after tax. Comes with a mini egg roll. The flavor of the sauce is some of the best I've ever had. The rice is a little bland but good to go to since the sauce has so much delicious flavor and compliments it well. Fast and friendly service. It's a must try and I highly recommend this if you like general tso Chicken.
