Sidetracked Pub And Grub

What a hidden gem! Its not fancy inside, just a bar, a pool table, a karaoke stage and DJ booth, but man!! The regulars are so nice and friendly. I didnt feel like it was a meat market. I could talk to people and just have a genuine conversation. Oh and the talent! Who knew so many people could sing so nicely all in one place!!?? They have a simple menu until after 10, then its appetizers. Simple stuff. Aspen, one of the bartenders, she can make a superb Long Island Iced Tea and Cherry Limeade!! There is no smoking inside, but they have benches and ashtrays on one side of the bar that is well lit for those that smoke. There isnt a lot of room to dance, but you can make it work. It is owned by two fabulous young women that are keeping it clean, and safe and definitely up to TABC standards. You MUST be 21 to go in, period. They will not over serve you either, so dont even think about driving drunk. Not on their watch. If you plan on getting blasted, UBER. They have songs from the 50s to now, every genre, and current stuff in between. The crowd is multiracial, and everyone loves all music. The lighting is low in the tabled area, and brighter at the bar, but perfectly so. It is an older building, but you feel like you are amongst friends inside. There is no judgement. I do not go out much, but I went with my 21 year old, who can sing. I cannot. Not even a lick. She had fun. The prices are unbelievably low! We had five mixed drinks between us and two appetizers. Our bill was only $43. Im a big tipper, at least 50%, so $63 bucks was great for four hours of fantastic service, great conversations, great entertainment, and just really nice people!! So, unless Adrenaline is playing at Sherlock's, this is where I will go.

Hands down the best Karaoke Bar in Arlington. Nice, eclectic mix of customers, friendly and attentive bar staff, and the sound system is a lot better than most of the places I've been to. I always have lots of fun when I decide to go......

Great singers come in to sing, makes it really fun. Regulars are cool and the bartenders are attentive. Recent improvements include new barstools, new air conditioning and bar lighting. Drink prices are reasonable too!

I love this bar!!! The owner Debby is so sweet and cares for her customers... the prices are reasonable, the food is good, the karaoke is awesome too! Whenever I'm in the area I always try to stop by! The locals treat you like family!
