First, let me say that we found this place by pure luck. We pulled off the highway for a bathroom and gas and stumbled upon the Arlington Dairy Bar just in time for lunch. The service was excellent and was only out done by the food. You order and pick up at the sliding windows, and then there are picnic tables to eat at. I'm sorry there are no food pictures to go with this review, but everyone basically inhaled their food. With that being said, we ordered the cheesesteak, the cheeseburger, mac&cheese bites, and mozzarella sticks. All of this food was amazing and came out nice and hot. I do not have one bad thing to say about our stop here, and it has been added to the must stop list when we are in Vermont. Do yourself a favor and pay the Arlington Dairy Bar a visit and enjoy great food and service with a side of fresh air. You won't be disappointed.

Food was great, staff was friendly. Had our first ever maple creamee as were from out of state and it was delicious.

Made it a few days before they closed for the winter. Understandably with only a few days to go they were out of a lot of things but the items they had in stock were delicious. Classic corn dog, super crispy fried scallops, and a generous amount of fried clams in the clam roll. Soft serve is also ace and the staff is super friendly.

If you are looking for a quick snack in Arlington VT, would recommend a stop by the Dairy Bar. When open, this place serves up tasty lobster rolls, fried snacks (we had fried green beans), and ice creams.

You just want a lil something. Perhaps you get a hankering for a lobster roll, but you are in the middle of Vermont. Watcha gonna do? May I suggest the Arlington Dairy Bar. This hidden gem's lobster roll is austere but perfect. The bun is buttered and lightly grilled; the lobster perfectly cooked; the extremely light coating of dressing is barely noticeable and merely enhances the lobster. It's not gourmet but simply perfect. You are not in Maine but you knew that when you stopped here. You won't care. You will be into your own highly enjoyable experience. NB: the place is cash only.

Picturesque ice cream barn off the side of the road. We had a hot dog, popcorn chicken, a butterscotch sundae, and a cherry dipped ice cream. Everything was quite good, the service staff was kind, and the picnic tables added a fun ambience. The popcorn chicken was the standout, and the hot dog was the low point. The hot dog wasn't bad, just adequate. In a similar vein there's little to recommend the ice cream here explicitly, but that's because in any place like this you're grading along the curve of cute New England ice cream joints. It's as hard to have a bad bowl of ice cream in Vermont as it is to have a bad slice of pizza in New York City. So this place has soft serve that is merely excellent, but the trappings elevate it to a strong recommendation. This place won't rewrite your expectations of what delicious ice cream can be, but you also can't go wrong here either.

We were visiting the area and it was an impulse stop. Was going to get some ice cream only but while standing in line, yes, there was a line, we decided to get some food Didn't take long for the fried shrimp platter and a burger. Good eats! Reasonable portion. The staff was out cleaning each picnic table after every guest! Sounded like a lot of locals do phone in orders. Got back in line after eating for a small soft-serve cone. Plenty beg enough for sure.
