I love the updates happening at Moonwinks! You can tell the business is in flux with the management change and things are new and different, but it seems like management is trying to bring the shop into the modern age and doing it in a way that will be sustainable. The change in coffee is a major upgrade (seriously Hyperion is where it’s at when it comes to ethical, quality beans) and the additions to the menu are great! I highly recommend the lentil salad, as it quickly became a favorite for me.
Moonwinks is warm, friendly, and has great food. My friend Ana introduced me to this wonderful place for lunch and it was great. I recommend the chicken pesto sandwich. Chicken perfectly cooked, the pesto was the right mix of flavors and I could eat the chicken dumpling soup all day. Go!
I have been coming to this place since they opened usually once or twice per month. It’s a very nice cafe/restaurant and an asset to our community. They have a great, covered wrap around patio that is quite pleasant to sit in and has been really helpful during the pandemic. Their food is good and a cut above all the other coffee places in the area. It is very reasonable in price. They serve locally roasted Hyperion coffee which is excellent. The staff has always been friendly and efficient in my experience. It also feels good to support a local business. I hear it’s up for sale and I hope they are able to maintain these excellent qualities.
Quaint restaurant with comfy outdoor patio. I prefer to make my purchase and eat outside here but you are able to consume your food inside as well (there may be procedures in place, but it's an easy courtesy for me to wear a mask when placing an order).
I have only asked for the Chicken Pesto wrap here because I enjoy it so much! Personally, I have not found many tastes like it unless going to a place with Halal Chicken. Wrap, chips and a pickle! The wrap stays warm & juicy throughout consumption.
The only thing I would request is to watch the seasoning on the chips, sometimes it is too strong and overpowers the rest of the food.
I did also really enjoy my Cold Brewed Coffee from Moonwinks, tastes different than other places I have been!

I love coming here for a latte in the morning, but recently I decided to try their pesto wrap. It was tasty and well-priced, and I'd get it again.
The coffee is always great here. They use Hyperion beans, which is a local roasting company, and the staff is very friendly.
One of my favorite little places! The inside and outside of the cafe is absolutely adorable! Plenty of seating. The staff is very friendly. There's games to play and wifi to hook up to. The food and bakery items are good, we've tried almost all of the items.
For those who care, they are super Covid safe as well, everyone was masked, HEPA filters in the dining area, and outside seating. Much appreciated!
