We've been coming to Sadako since 2004, and it's hands down the best sushi in Michigan. The tuna here is the freshest and best tasting I've had in the states and their rolls are generously sized and inexpensive. It's even worth the hassle of navigating downtown Ann Arbor during move in week like we're doing right now.
Sadako food and people are wonderful. Sometimes it takes awhile for the food to be delivrred, and sometimes the soup is cold. But most of the time it is spot on!. Arrive early cause there will be a wait in line during peak times, and parking is terrible when you can find it.
I’ve eaten sushi in a lot of different countries. I would recommend Sadako to anybody in the Ann Arbor Michigan area. The staff was attentive, (water, hot tea always full). The food was good and the price was extremely reasonable. I will come back when in the area.
Service is always great at Sadako! Super kind and attentive staff. Wait time is about 10 minutes for moderately busy times. We tried the chicken katsu for the first time, and it was scrumptious. Would definitely get again, but maybe accompanied by 1 roll of sushi instead of 4 rolls for two people. Sadako never disappoints.
Great taste, very friendly service and not expensive at all, definitely the best sushi in Ann Arbor. It is usually packed. You can also order and go pick up which is also an excellent choice
Awesome spot for lunch (bento boxes are a great deal and there is a big variety to choose from). We also get takeout sushi from here -- better prices than elsewhere and the quality is still great.
Gets pretty busy during regular lunch hours on weekdays, but outside those hours or on weekends it's quieter and easy to get a table.
