D's restaurant has been here for a very long time. The reason why is easy. They have the best breakfast in Van buren 24/7 and the wait staff is very attentive. They also have a breakfast and lunch buffet at reasonable prices.
I've never had a bad meal here and the staff is very friendly! If you want to try a little of everything the buffet is the way to go.
Excellent food with good portions at a great price. The pork chops and fried okra were goood! Great friendly staff! I was staying in the hotel next door and glad this was so close by. I got the turkey bacon sandwich the next day and it was delicious!
We had breakfast here after an overnight stay at the adjacent Motel 6 (which was great). Service was fantastic! Plenty of room, so no one was crowded or cramped. There were a plethora of breakfast options (breakfast served all day b/t/w). I had the No. 1 (I think)...eggs, hash browns, 2 sausage patties, biscuits and gravy...wow! My wife had the pancake breakfast and she loved it! Lots of pancakes on her plate with plenty of syrup in the side. Super filling and tasty as well. The sausage patties were the weak point here, really thin and not a lot to them. But overall a really tasty way to start our day. The service ladies visited our table several times to make sure everything was fine and were very attentive and courteous.
The pie/cake display looked totally delicious too (although we didn't sample them this visit).
I was so hungry, I forgot to take photos, but that's ok. It was great!

Absolutely one of the best places I’ve ever eaten at and the staff is just a ray of sunshine. I travel often and eat at lots of mom and pop places but this one takes the cake for sure. Our server, Rachel was extremely sweet and helpful and our cashier, Katelyn was completely amazing. If you’re looking for great food, and smiling faces you absolutely have to stop here. The best part? The portions could hardly be contained by the plates and the food was priced very fairly. I highly recommend the bourbon burger too. 🤩
This place is amazing! Hand made burgers everything was fresh and freakin amazing! One place you gotta check out!! Dont mind the half eaten plate of food.
This place was awesome! There was hardly anyone here, so I was a hit skeptical, but it was so good! The Chicken Fried Steak cut like butter, the Fried Okra was perfect, and The Big Dog Burger was yummy!
The place was very clean, the waitress super sweet, and the cook was speedy!
Their rolls are AMAZING!!! I had their Bourbon steak burger dinner, the bourbon sauce is the best I've had, and the patty was cook almost perfect. I love how they put my salad dressing on the side and let me decide how much I wanted on my salad. The only complaint is, I didn't have room for dessert!!! Great little diner. Will definitely be back!!!
Customer service was great and restaurant was clean . Food was delicious, will return and take friends with me.
