I should have made this review a long time ago. I love the cozy atmosphere Jeff created there. His coffee is by far my favorite and I've tried a few of his other selections on the menu and enjoyed each one. If I couldn't make up my mind Jeff always had a gret recommendation for me. You will not find another coffee shop anywhere like Tamp & Grind and with the friendly staff you will definitely visit it again. I love the personalized mugs hanging around that you can just grab to use and when you're done the mug is hung back up until you return for your next visit to use again. I bought two mugs and use them often at home. Jeff's little coffee shop has brought downtown Alexandria back to life and is exactly what the town needed. I wish I still lived there so I could visit it more often but I do look forward to and enjoy myself a cup every time I come down to visit. I will miss my visits with my long time friend Jeff dearly but I will continue to stop by to have a cup in memory of him.
