Good Pizza. Their pizza is delicious. Lots of gooey cheese and well seasoned. But do not make the mistake of ordering anything complicated. We asked for a topping on only one half of the pizza, and I already knew it was trouble long before the pizza arrived. The person taking the order asked us three times to confirm, which was a bad sign.
Delicious! The pizza is awesome, lots of sauce and cheese. We went to the new location at 4th and Central.
Good pizza, bad salad. Grabbed a slice of pineapple pizza and a salad for lunch. The slice was very good - big and hot and cheesy. However, I was extremely disappointed in the "small dinner salad" that was clearly about a quarter's worth of bagged iceberg mix with processed croutons and generic ranch.
Great pizza & service. Thumbs up/great Pizza!! After reading sheris review i was curious because ive heard good things about this place, Me and my wife decided to try Aldos ny pizza. we where greeted apon entering and placed our order. staff was very friendly. fast and wonderfull pizza, and a great anti pasto salad, it was big and full of toppings. The slices are huge also. ive been around and these are a great deal for there quality. the walk way in the store front had a few vagrents but i know the city controls that area and not the businesses around it.
As I took my first pizza slice from the pie, melted cheese pulled away from adjoining slices leaving drooping cheese ends dangling off the edges. It featured light sauce, runny cheese, and a thin foldable crust.... indeed characteristics of a NY style pizza. Perhaps a style not enjoyed by all, as cheese and toppings have a tendency to fall off the crust. Delicious nonetheless.
Price is steep compared to NYC (I know right!?), But this visit was quality! Ordered two slices: one pepperoni, one sausage, and a small drink: $9.71 before tip. Less than 6 minutes for the order up.(vs 20-30 minutes at JC's New York Pizza down the street. Slices are very close to actual NY slices (one slice here is about the size of two slices at JC's NY Pizza, I'll post a photo). Just to contrast, there are 11 pepperonis on Aldo's pie, there were 3.5 pepperonies at JC's. So, yeah it costs more (not just more than local places, but more than actual NYC pizza in Manhattan), but bang for buck is more than local pizza spots in downtown ABQ.
Service is hit or miss depending on the training of the staff (food service in Albuquerque is high turnover). But even the "new guy" tonight was fast with the aide of a colleague.
I'll revisit soon!
Good pizza. Not a date place. Store is in need of good cleaning and restoration. Tables all have holes drilled in them from a previous purpose I suppose, and lots of things just falling apart around the store. BUT if just looking for good pizza slices this place will work just fine. Preferred the pizza at Aldo’s versus the other nearby NY style pizza place but other location’s atmosphere was much better. IMHO. Guessing they do more delivery than eat-in at Aldo’s. Service was also good though.
This is thee go to for pizza and wings! The people are nice and we always receive our order in a timely manner. The pizza is cheesy and greasy-so NY style. And the slices to match-Huge!!
We ordered a traditional pepperoni pie, and the mild sauce wings.
My bf and I love this place!
I have not tried delivery, so I cannot comment on this.
Thanks Aldo’s !
Pizza was good. Very cheesey and thin crust.
Staff are nice and chill.
Oh... They even gave us paper plates, packages of cheese and crushed red pepper, right out me asking. 👍🏽
Trust me, you'll not regret eating here.
Literally the BEST place for pizza in Albuquerque. The best food, along with the best atmosphere and workers. They are so friendly and make you feel at home. I will always make it a point to come eat here when I’m in town.
I eat hear at least a couple times a week and the pizza is so good, so are the wings and cheese fries. But the food doesnt have anything on the service, they're always very nice and courteous.
Great Italian style food at good prices
Best Pizza in the state by far!!! I have a friend from NY and he says its the closest to home that he's felt in years.
Love my brotha and sista that runs this place!!! Great pizza! Much love
