Our church is very big with several campuses. I love that this campus is more comfortable of a size for me. It makes getting to know people easier. I am pretty introverted but always greeted and welcomed in a gentle way that doesn't freak me out. Pastor Joe is super friendly and pretty funny too. My favorite is the ladies' breakfasts and Bible studies. That's the best way to plug in and want to start serving. Oh, and did I mention how awesome the "made to order "coffee bar is? Nothing like walking in the doors and catching that aroma before worship!

Awesome!!! I love Legacy Church! The atmosphere & solid scriptural teaching keeps my husband & me coming back. The Spirit is flowing. They touch hearts & minds across a whole spectrum of people. Pastor Steve Smothermon is absolutely dedicated to teaching the Word. He doesn't water it down. That's refreshing. Give Legacy a try. So glad we did! Lots of love at Legacy!

This review is going to be focused on addressing some of the other reviews, in an effort to provide clarity. Firstly, politics. God created politics. He has always used politics for His will and purpose to be fulfilled through people. The Bible gives numerous examples of this truth. The reason our world is in shambles is due, in part, to a lack of political involvement of the Church, and individual believes. Tithing. Legacy doesn't beg for it because they want it. Legacy implores us to give God what is rightfully His to begin with. God requires our first tenth because He uses it for advancing His will on earth. Without tithes there would be no church, and no generosity. Tithes and offerings allow Legacy to spread the Gospel and bless people. Tithes mean that the doors of Legacy stay open for someone who is suicidal and desperate to walk in and receive hope. I will gladly give God my first to help someone like that. If you aren't willing to do the same, I encourage you to search your heart and discover why. Funeral services and the afterlife. Of course Legacy is going to preach the Bible's position on eternity at a funeral service. To do otherwise would be, (a) hypocritical, (b) lies, and (c) setting people up for eternal failure. If it offends you, you're being deceived to horrific consequences. The work for YOUR place in perfect eternity has already been completed; You just have to choose to believe someone loves you enough to have already taken care of it. Legacy is what true Christianity is supposed to be. It's the entirety of God's Word, enveloped with love and courage. If you aren't a member of Legacy Church, you are doing yourself, and your family a great disservice. If you want to continue to make excuses for being part of the problem, and not the solution, feel free to attend any other church in New Mexico, and see how well it goes in the end with God's plan for your life. But if you want to know the truth, even when it's challenging, if you want to personally experience the God who created the universe and to discover His plan for your life, if you are beyond hopeless and you feel like you want to die, if you don't understand what it's like to be loved and accepted as the hot cow pie-of-a-mess you believe you are (which you aren't) but you want to find out, then welcome to the family, and welcome home.

Absolutely love this Church!! Pastor Steve is the real deal. He doesn't sugar coat anything he may be political but he backs it up with God's word. How do we apply God in our lifes if dont address every area of our life with what God says? I love that he stands for something. He puts himself on the line everytime. I love that he's not afraid to take a stand on the behalf of God. This place is so welecoming, Pastor Steve has even come up to me to shake my hand as he was walking by. I got a courtesy call from Pastor Brian to see if I needed prayer! If Pastor Joe is preaching hes very entertaining and he will definitely make you laugh along the way. This church has had a huge impact on my relationship with God and helped me to grow in my faith. Thank you Legacy Church.

I love Legacy Church, A Church that stand true on the Word of God & truly loves everyone who enters. Everyone is so kind and Welcoming and this church preaches the TRUE Gospel of Jesus Christ. People get saved and Legacy truly cares about Reaching the lost, the community of ABQ & State of NM.
